Here's something I observed while reading the HHN24 "Relieve The Terror" blog post written by Mr. Aiello: On the part where he begins talking about HHN25, he says "We could not be more excited about the horrific possibilities for our 25th anniversary. The tricks, the treats, the past, the present, and the future... are all being examined." The PAST is being examined. The past for HHN obviously consists of the icons, including Jack. Maybe we will see the other icons. The past also consists of Legendary Truth, which is also returning. However, what if we see the returning of some other amazing HHN hit franchises from the past like Nightengales or Psychoscareapy. We have been hearing about a Nightengales sequel, and this may finally be the year it appears! What better to make a sequel to one of the greatest houses ever than on the 25th anniversary? Now as for the "present", it could easily just mean IPs. The present is what they look at for IPs. As in, what properties people wanna see. Future... guess we'll have to see.... But yeah, that's just some of my observations.

Well look at this year. The 3 originals were insanely successful. The originals this year really climbed to the top with the IPs. But hey, what about chucky? With all the chucky merch this year, could we end up seeing chucky used next year?

Well with all the nods to Jack in Giggles N Gore, I think we may see his triumphant return for HHN25

So many great actors! Roanoke: The skinless dude that jumped through the wooden wall and told me "YOU SMELL LIKE SKIN!" lol FDTD: The barker in front of the facade! Made me laugh a lot. The Purge: Not sure if you guys noticed her, but there was a non-purger actress. She had some blood on her and she would run around, hiding from the other purgers, trying to survive. She was a great actress, and I actually thought she was a person who was just scared shitless. She actually ran up to me and told me to help her. I got it on video. The Purge: Also in the purge, the amazing purger with the green mask who would full on jump in the air at people with his chainsaw. Got me a bunch of times. Maskerade: The dude with the gold mask who was holding a candle and would go up to peopleand shout "candle!!!" Bayou Of Blood: The voodoo queen. She seriously deserves SAoTY! I had an entire converstaion with her and she never EVER gets out of character. She's funny, smart, and deadly. All around an AMAZING actress!

Yeah I went last night as well, and the express lines were pretty unorganized. I'm just happy I didn't have to wait 2 hours for Halloween. And it really was 2 hours.

well we did AVP and Roanoke which weren't tents. Giggles N Gore we actually did later when it was dark. The wait was surprisingly only 35 minutes. But yeah, I wouldn't do Halloween, Dollhouse, or Giggles while the sun is still out.

Yeah I buy express but don't use it unless the regular line is over 30 minutes. The lines are pretty short during the first hour of the event so I rush to see which ones I can do the regular lines in. This year I got to AVP, Roanoke, and Giggles N Gore twice because they were short lines when I first got there. I just used my express pass to go again later in the night.

Haha agreed. Although, I am hoping for lots of originals as speculated, But if the Exorcist makes an appearance for the 25th anniversary, my dreams will come true lol

Insidious was always speculation. There were no actual clues to it. It was basically just a prediction. I don't see Insidious coming to Horror Nights until Chapter 3 comes out.

It's also interesting how they excluded The Purge Anarchy from that display.

Why would they build an entire facade, just to scrap it? I doubt they would scrap Halloween. It's such a strong property.

lol if you guys are assuming it's canceled because of the long time they are waiting to announce it, then calm down. It's basically the same as how Resident Evil was announced last year. It took a while and was the last reveal. If anything, they are taking their time to prepare the site update so they can launch it shortly after Halloween is announced. We'll see.

Eh. It depends. I certainly would like ours to have a bit more of a theme besides red scratches of blood in the background. Ours is too bare bones right now, I would like to see a more elaborate site. Pray that we get one, which I'm sure we'll be surprised to find a cool organized site after Halloween gets announced, which is probably the reason it's taking a while. I would guess they are preparing the updated site for when Halloween is announced, but we'll see.

You guys act like you didn't know there was another maze...

It bothers me that everyone has been begging for the return of scarezones, and when it actually happens, they all find something to complain about. "There are only 4 scarezones" Oh boohoo... there are only 4 scarezones. Yeah, 4 amazingly designed and complex scarezones, including The Purge which covers up the ENTIRE New York area including Sting Alley! That's freaking huge, guys. Not to mention, we are getting a Walking Dead "queque zone" with zombies and most likely a "Clown exit zone" when we are leaving the Giggles And Gore Inc maze. So everyone just calm down, and think about it. I can GUARANTEE you that just because there are 4 scarezones, the rest of the park will NOT be empty. It's HHN's heart and soul job to turn ALL of Universal Studios into Halloween Horror Nights. I have a feeling that outside of the mazes that are NOT located in scarezones, there will be a themed zone in front of the queque. One last comment before I end this little assurance message: Scarezones are back. Just what we wanted

I was as well, but I figured it was just part of speculation. It was to my understanding that the original idea was there would be stages and "minions" which kind of breaks the description which says nothing about stages, nor roaming minions. Instead, it says different atmospheres with a couple of themed characters each.

In a way, I have a feeling the style of this scarezone will be more like the 20 years Of fear scarezone from HHNXX and less like the "7" sarezone, just by the way Aiello described it. Think about it: never in the scarezone description did it say that there would be plain old stages that are slightly decorated. In fact, Mr. Aiello said there will be different themed atmospheres and "habitats" if you would. So think about it: We will actually be able to come face to face with the horrific monstrosities of the show, instead of looking at them up on stages. The way it is very much like 20YOF from HHNXX, is the fact that 20YOF had numerous scenes from HHN's past and characters that suited those scenes. Not to mention, those characters could run at you or chase you. That being said, this is going to a really interesting SZ with some really awesome creatures!

Oh of course, just as soon as they give up on TWD.

Yeah, and there was the talk of the "Prop Master", but that was quickly shut down after it was reported to be scrapped. So they probably just saved that for next year, along with the other icons! That's almost always the case.

I have posted these pictures before but this is pretty much what they're doing, and if the costumes are anything like these than it'll be a great scarezone!

I agree. Leaving areas empty would just be a waste of props and space. The way I see it, after last year, they really stepped up the street experience in the way it filled the park up, except this year, there are no zombies. That being said, I have a feeling we may see areas that might not be "scarezones", but most likely scenes and such as we have seen done before.
