  1. Well, because of the improvement in theatrics and new technical effects (such as puppets, sets, costumes, etc), if HHN brings back the atmosphere and ambiance of those older years, imagine what the event would be like. It would be amazing. I will say that the event has without a doubt improved in sets and effects. We haven't seen any majorly cheesy or low budget houses since HHN22. Everything has been higher budget and quality. So imagine if they brought back the old atmosphere of the event and applied these elements to it. That being said, I have high hopes that HHN25 brings this.
  2. Out of all the icons we could get, I would choose Jack as one of the last that I would want to see. HOWEVER, If it's Jack or TWD, I pick Jack. I want an icon. I want originals, I want more than a simple IP non-themed year like the past few. And if Jack is the only option, by hell, I want to see him. Jack > TWD = Original > IP I will honestly only accept 2 IPs for the 25th anniversary. It would be ridiculous to leave out all the amazing original content for the anniversary of the event's golden years. And if we see IPs, (Which we will obviously) I will honestly say they better be good ones. I want to see Freddy Vs. Jason or even Insidious. Just please give us something a little more haunt-like. I think foREVer56 made a great point. No one came for HHN24 to see Dracula Untold or FDTD. The only properties that had crowds were AvP, TWD, and Halloween. This shows that they only need 2 or 3 IPs to draw in crowds. For HHN25, all they need is TWD and something else worthy of bringing in IP fans. Freddy Vs Jason is a great one. So if we could just get 2 big IPs that will bring in the crowds, then everything else can be Originals, which has to have the upper hand for the 25th anniversary. Hopefully if we DO get a "New Age" style event for the 25th anniversary, (which was what XX did) then I hope this "new age" is a return to the "golden age". HHN20 gave us a new age. Unfortunately we didn't know that the "new age" would bring us a Walking Dead overload, an overuse of IPs, and a change of technique. I really do hope this 25th anniversary is an event that finally introduces the old golden age style of the event to the newer fans.
  3. Well, Z Nation is a Syfy show. So is Face Off, which they got the rights to. I'm sure they could easily get Z Nation to come to the event.
  4. I like this idea. It could happen. And don't forget: It being the 25th anniversary, maybe we see a jump to 9 or 10 houses instead of only 8. Then, we get 6 Originals and 3 or 4 IPs. A dominant side for original houses, great scarezones that are as good as HHN14-21's scarezones, the return of icons, and I think we may get a an event that returns us to the "golden ages" style of the event. Some part of me doubts all of this, but a lot of me says it happens. After all, it's 100% possible, Especially since lots of original content including actual scarezones were introduced to the newcomers to the event for HHN24. Here's my view: for HHN24, Universal brought back scarezones. NOW, they are bringing back icons. Or at least Jack. This leads me to believe, that we keep getting closer to how the event was originally. The way that we all loved it. I'm telling you, we keep taking steps closer, and that's a good thing.
  5. I would love to see "The Masks" !! But I agree, I don't think it'll be done because of the right Disney claims for TOT.
  6. True, I guess. But I still don't understand how a Hitchcock house would play out. I'm not doubting it or anything. I would just need someone to explain the possibilities of Hitchcock house to me.
  7. What if we see a brand new "All Night Die-In" house which features a lot of content from Hitchcock's movies.
  8. Hey, maybe for NOES and TCM, we are getting a house version of the Carnival Of Carnage or something. Since Jack is returning, maybe we see a house for Jack which includes Carnival Of Carnage. However, Friday The 13th was nowhere on the survey, which leads is a bit odd. However, maybe for a "Carnival Style Freak Show", we get the Carnival of Carnage. But I don't know. There's not enough info yet to predict such a thing.
  9. Here's my thoughts. (obviously it's too early, but this is just for fun.) House Lineup: 1. Alien: Isolation (Video game property) 2. The Strain 3. Icon-based Original 4. Nightengales 2 5. Something throwbacky, like ScreamHouse or Run. 6. Insidious 7. A Slasher IP (NOES, or TCM?) 8. Legendary Truth original 9. Something related to Jack (3D?)
  10. So... basically Nightengales: Blood Prey but with zombies. Nah, I'd prefer a Nightengales sequel instead.
  11. Hey! Here's something to think about: The Voodoo Priestess (Mamba) was such a huge hit this year, you could practically call her the icon of HHN24. Anyone think we could see Mamba return for HHN25, since she was such a beloved character?
  12. I agree. But you have to admit, some of the scenes are really creepy. Especially since a lot of the scenes are dark. And in one of the first episodes, that scene in the morgue would be pretty awesome. However, how do you think they could accomplish the tongues?
  13. I can see The Strain being one of the IPs next year. It was on the survey. It would be one of the few IPs that I wouldn't mind seeing. I mean, it's vampires, not zombies at least. Let's try something new!
  14. I wonder if we'll be seeing an actual title besides #HHN25. I was a little disappointed on how we didn't get a theme or even a title for this year. We've seen titles/themes like Carnival Of Carnage, Bloody Mary, What Evil has Taken Root, etc. But no, HHN24 was simply #HHN24 , that is unless the title was "Featuring The Walking Dead!"
  15. Hey, but what about my idea of an Alien: Isolation maze? I think everyone else would love to see those amazing xenomorph puppets return. To be clear, Alien: Isolation is a new video game based on the Alien franchise. It's a new horror style survival game in space. Mike Aiello has been tweeting about it. I think he bought it or something. And by attempting Alien: Isolation you are using a property solely based on Alien. No predator. Therefore, they can aim for a darker, and more expanded version of alien. When I say expanded, I mean actually involving chestburster scenes and more facehuggers. Not to mention, whatever scenes are included in the video game. I didn't AvP, in fact I loved it and it's #2 on the top 3 for me this year. (I believe I had a better experience than most...) But anyways, this is merely an idea. Please don't tell me this is most likely not going to happen, because I am just throwing out ideas, since it is just ideas at this early on. But all-in-all, it's just an idea that I would love to see happen. (Not that I'm an IP person. I prefer original content. This is just an IP idea since IPs are obviously a permanent part of HHN now.)
  16. I thought it would be cool to have a Resident Evil scarezone instead of a house. I think this was speculated for HHN24, during the rumors, but it would be great in my opinion. Like make a scarezone for raccoon city instead of a house with all the lights on.
  17. Honestly, I would prefer any other zombie IP over The Walking Dead... Just to get something new.
  18. For me it would be like this: 1. Dollhouse 2. AvP 3. Drac Untold 4. Halloween 5. Giggles N Gore 6. Roanoke 7. TWD 8. FDTD
  19. I do recall "Trick R Treat 2" being speculated for HHN24. Don't forget, out of all the 2015 horror movies, Trick R Treat 2 is dated to come out in October of 2015. (if I'm getting my facts correctly) Anyways, I can see Trick R Treat 2 happening, and that's an IP I'd actually enjoy seeing. Hey and what about 3D houses? I know a lot of people dislike 3D houses, but I'm one who enjoys them. Think we could be seeing a 3D house after not seeing one for HHN24?
  20. He's pretty much HHN's take on the Joker in my opinion. Anyways, here's my predictions of the lineup. IPs: The Walking Dead (no doubt), American Horror Story (possibly Freakshow. If not, it'll be a combination of all seasons), and some people said Insidious. Never heard about any Insidious rumors but I can see it happening. Something I would LOVE to see happen is Alien: Isolation. ANYTHING to see those Xenomorph puppets again... Originals: (I see the originals being the dominant side of the event. It has to be that way, or it isn't really an anniversary year.) I can see a Nightengales sequel happening, since there's so much more they can do. It was almost made for a sequel, especially there being many other wars and war-based themes they can use for a 2nd house. I also see a main house that pretty much acts as the heart of the anniversary. (Kinda like how Hallow'd Past stood in XX, just... better hopefully), Probably a Jack house, maybe 3D. I'm DYING for a 3D house since we didn't see one for HHN24. I also feel like they could do a Scary Tales 3 or something along the lines of a past franchise extension. Icon: If it is Jack, I hope he takes a different role of power. He has been the same for a long time. Not that I hate him, because trust me, he's one of my favorite icons, but I feel like something NEW with him would be refreshing. However, if he's all we get, I'll be happy with whatever they give us. Maybe we'll see this "Prop master" guy. That's actually one of my hopes, to see a new icon. Do I think we'll see the other icons as well? I sure do. They threw the Jack teaser out insanely early. I can see them giving us the other icons just to add to the anniversary. Why would they exclude icons like the Caretaker or the Director from the 25th anniversary? I don't see Fear showing up though. Scarezones: scarezones are a rough part to speculate, considering they are usually original. It's hard to predict any IPs that will take place street-wise. Probably a 25th anniversary scarezone. I also heard rumors of a 3rd Purge movie... If it's true, maybe we'll see the return of The Purge. That would be okay with me. I enjoyed the scarezone. Okay. That's about it for me. I know that was A LOT of wishful thinking and random guesses, but It's not even 2015 yet so there isn't much for us to use as proof.
  21. Maybe each Icon can get a themed scarezone and be featured on the streets? I know they've all had houses in 16 and 20, but it would be interesting to have Icon related scarezones. Like GNG minions of Jack in a Jack zone? Idk
  22. Well, maybe ALL the icons trapped inside the lamp escaped. We could see houses for each icon. All Night Die In 3
  23. If Jack ends up taking the leading role for the anniversary, or as the "star icon" of the event, I hope he has a different appearance and role of power. If I'm not mistaken, he was killed in HHN20, so hopefully they built a story fo rhow he returned. Just to please us fans. However, what if he ends up returning simply because of the Giggles N Gore Inc. clown factory, which was introduced to us this previous year. I know this idea shot up during HHN24 speculation, but what if in HHN25, Jack is back and alive because the clowns at GNG inc. re-made him. Not only that, but made him BETTER. This is totally wishful thinking talking but It's just an idea. After all, Giggles N Gore featured LOTS of Jack easter eggs. I just want a new appearance and a new backstory, but the same old heavy metal, naughty, creepy but funny personality that we all loved about Jack!
  24. I think if they use AHS, it'll end up being for AHS: Freakshow. Just simply because it'll be the new thing for the franchise. But careful what you wish for... American Horror Story could end up being the new Walking Dead.
