Ok so about Blizzard. I may have made a connection between the Dr Jimmy's Immigrant Song post, and Blizzard. That connection would be Krampus. I did some research on Krampus, and got some interesting info. Of course, Krampus is the Blizzard part of the connection, as it is a Christmas time legend, AND a European myth. Here's some information about the Krampus when it started out. Quote from here. Not only is Krampus a European myth, but it was also literally spread through immigration. I'm not sure if I'm getting anywhere with this, but I just thought you guys should know that Immigrant and Krampus are keywords here, and I think they're linked.

I have a feeling it'll be 9 FREE houses, with our additional tenth "upcharged" LT interactive house. So yes, a total of 10 houses. I was thinking about the scarezones as well. I'm hoping they put more of their budget into the zones this year. I want to see a lot more props to add more of an atmosphere. I think what I want to see most though, is 5 or 6 scarezones, rather than 4. Maybe Cassi is confirming 2 more zones? hmm.

I actually did realized that the "8 All New Terrifying Haunted Houses" is gone. I don't have a doubt that we'll get 9 mazes this year. I believe there is a lot more than we know. I mean, we've been hearing from Cassi for the past couple years, as the same character. I think it's been a set up for her, as a new character. I like SirOwenDisney's idea that she is Chance in disguise, but she could also be someone new.

Yes, the scrapped 3D "ritual" house from last year could be used. I actually feel that the concept of that maze from what it sounded like, was basically a 3D version of "Where Evil Hides"

There's so many possibilities here. LT, Jack, other Icons. (I'll exclude Hellraiser, since the quote is so obvious.) Could it be referring to one maze? (possibly the "throw back" maze, which explains the hints to multiple icons) OR, could it be a hint to the event overall? That would show that multiple icons will take roles in the anniversary, and possibly showing that LT will be involved. Maybe it could be hinting Jack, but with a twist of some sort. Maybe Jack is the reason the past returns. Maybe this "RITUAL" (the jackal sign can stand for a ritual) is how Jack resurrects the icons and past content for the anniversary. And just maybe, LT plans to fight against the chaos. Just a wild thought. hmm..

It would be the new "MMEAAATTT" But I have to agree. I wouldn't be able to stand a bunch of kid fans running, messing around, considering a lot of who fans are kids now.

Hmmm. Well actually, they've been using the word terror since the "Relieve The Terror Of HHN24" video. That I believe was the first time we saw the word used. Who knows, maybe it could refer to something, maybe even a past reference, but the only thing I can come up with is... Dungeon Of Terror...?

Actually the return of Midway of Bizarre wouldn't be too surprising, considering Jack is returning. That's assuming they meant to say "HHN5"

-so here's my little speculation overview now that these updates have got the thread stirring.- Just going to tell you my thoughts regarding whether TWD returns or not, since that was brought up a few posts up. I DO NOT see The Walking Dead returning to the event this year. I feel like Universal sent TWD away with it's "Biggest House in History." There's no way to top it, especially how this current season is going. I feel like HHN24's "biggest house" was the big farewell to TWD. The only way I see The Walking Dead returning in the future, is possibly through the upcoming spin off show, but we have no idea what that show has to offer yet. As for AHS, I'm not one of the ones dying for it to come. I personally didn't enjoy the show too much until Freakshow aired. I think it could come to the event, BUT that's only if these so called "rights problems" get sorted out. I actually am not sure how Freakshow would work at this year's event, considering we are most likely already getting clowns and carnival themes, because of Jack's return. What I think could happen is AHS Freakshow could become one of our shows this year, since RHPS might not be coming back. That would be the "Freakshow-Style Show" we saw on the survey back in January. Could there be more icons than only Jack? I certainly think so. They may not take leading roles, but I believe they will be participating in the event whether it's our "throwback" house, or even the icons in person on the streets or in a show maybe. I do think that Jack will have the starring role though, considering he's the most relatable icon to release to the newer crowds. Krampus as a house? This is one of my most anticipated ideas. I think that with Hollywood's success with "Dark Christmas", we get a Krampus house. Not to mention that 2 movies are coming out (this year) based on Krampus, and one is a Universal film. Therefore, yes I believe we get a Krampus or even "Urban Legends: Krampus" house.

In the past teaser videos we've gotten, the footage of Jack was re-edited past footage of him. This looked brand new. Possibly a quick shot of this year's commercial? It's an awesome thought.

Yeah it was multiple voices, or whispers if you will. It's clearly impossible to figure out what's being said in the audio. I think this "clue" is based more towards her little comment, "Your words are just noise that fill my ears, But soon you will know what it is to fear"

Well, The Cabin In The Woods was filled with comedy. In my opinion, the movie was funnier than scary, with all it's jokes. And yet, It happened to be a really scary house in my opinion. It had a lot of intense scenes, with very little comedy, besides the Merman. haha I laughed so hard when I saw him. That scene is the best XD

Probably a fan favorite, but the only ones I can think of that are a possibility are Nightengales, Catacombs, or maybe H.R. Bloodengutz. But that's only if this isn't a hint to our anniversary/ "best of" house. My best guess is Nightnegales to be quite honest.

I think if we were to get a slasher house, FvJ would be the best bet. It involves TWO of horror history's greatest slashers, which draws in Freddy fans AND Jason fans, making a bigger crowd for Universal to make money on. I personally would rather FvJ, than a single house. When you have Freddy and Jason, you get 2 atmospheres. With freddy, you get boiler room scenes, and dark areas. With Jason, you get the camp grounds, lake, woods, etc. It's the best of both worlds.

Well, if you think about it, they definitely wouldn't tease a brand new icon for the 25th anniversary like they did with Jack on that video. It would give it away. Maybe, they used Jack to show that the event will have an icon, making us think it's Jack, but really, it's a new icon that we have never seen before. Just an idea

Hey I've brought this up a whole bunch of times in earlier posts in speculation, but haven't gotten any conversation out of it. Just an interesting thought: What if we see the "Prop Master" icon that was potentially set up to be the icon of HHN24, but was scrapped? I was really interested in him, and his whole concept. One of my ideas was that he could possibly be used in a new maze. If anything, since he's a "Prop Master", or "collector" if you will, MAYBE, we'll see him take Fear's role as the overlord. Here's my point of view if this were to happen: Our anniversary house, or "best of" house features this Prop Master. He has collected all the props and past content from HHN's old mazes and characters. With that power, he resurrects HHN's past, including the icons, past franchise characters/themes, and rooms of all the fan favorite mazes. So basically, it's A Hallow'd Past. I mean, seriously. It would be the Prop Master's Prop Warehouse. Therefore, it would be way to similar to Hallow'd Past, so they'd have change it up more. Imagine if they redid Hallow'd Past, since they have improved so much in maze design. Anyways... This is just a well imagined idea of mine that was just thrown onto this thread... any thoughts on the Prop Master?

True. But I don't think the arena is the main issue. My only thought would be that laser tag would be cheaper, with less needed supplies, and darkness wouldn't be a danger. My other thought would be maybe as an added "purchase-required" attraction would be something like the legendary truth preview they gave us for HHN24. Where, you take the role of some paranormal investigator, with the pad tech. Maybe even a ghost buster.....

Where the hell would Universal add a paintball arena into their park...? XD But no, I see what you mean. Thing is... I don't think it'll be paintball. If anything, I see it being laser tag, which is much more efficient for Universal, to save money from buying paintballs, masks, and equipment. I think they could even put a laser tag experience inside one of the soundstages, as an extra attraction for those who purchase FF or something. In fact, maybe this interactive shooting game will be tied in with Legendary Truth, since they brought it back last year to test it out as a new tech for the event. Hmmmm. A Legendary Truth interactive laser tag/survival game. Cool.

I really honestly think we will get Krampus in some way, shape, or form. Considering, Hollywood did it and it was a huge hit, and the fact that several movies are coming out based on the Krampus legend. I actually think it'll be a house, to be quite honest. We did get our Urban Legends house: La Llorona in 2013. Therefore, I feel we'll get a brand new Urban Legends house based on Krampus. In all honesty, it works way better as a house than as a scarezone. After reading every aspect and variation of the Krampus legend, there's SO MANY things A&D can do with it, and I really hope this house happens. As for the slasher thing that was brought up on ScreamScape... Come on guys, Slashers have come up on speculation for the past what... 4 years? It's nothing new. However, something tells me we will get a classic slasher house. Because of a few reasons. These are very simple reasons. For starters, there's a new Friday The 13th remake coming out this year, which doesn't mean too much. It's being produced by Paramount Pictures, which if I'm correct, is associated with Universal. Also, a Freddy Vs Jason house has been brought up a few times, and that could also happen, as one of our major fan IPs. Another idea I had, was something related to Carnival of Carnage, with Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface. A show possibly, since Jack is back, but that's just throwing an idea out there. Doubt it though. We'll see.. For Jack, yes he is our icon from what we currently know, but here are some things I have thought of. We could get 1 of 2 mazes featuring him: 1. He is the "host" of our 25th anniversary "past HHN best of" house. 2. OR we get a basic Jack clown house. I would think it would be 3D. Anyways, I think we'll see him on the streets as well. We could get a generic clowns scarezone, "Jack's Carnival", basically. We could also get a scarezone based on all the icons. I honestly think we will get multiple icon/ HHN "past" scarezones. Probably even something similar to 20 Years of Fear. I even think we'll get a Jack show, instead of Rocky Horror, but not sure. Finally, like I said, I think we will get more Originals than IPs this year, to introduce this stuff to the newer HHN attendees. So basically, for houses, I think we'll get: -Urban Legends Krampus House -Jack 3D OR "Best of" House (maybe both. But idk.) -Nightengales 2 -H.R. Bloodengutz? (Many people have suggested it to Mike on twitter. Really hoping for Bloodengutz to come back) -Legendary Truth house -Some brand new original... -Slasher House (MAYBE) -AHS (MAYBE) -Insidious/Paranormal house? (Just since Insidious is being speculated for Hollywood) As for scarezones, just to hard to make a list without clues. It'll all just come out as wishful thinking. I do think we'll get some HHN Past stuff on the streets. Maybe something like an old maze converted to a scarezone. That's a cool idea someone had. Once again, ladies and genttlemen, pure speculation. Just ideas, which is all we can do as of now. This list is just based on guesses.

What I don't like is that our theme has basically been based off of what makes the most money. I'm not saying that IPs have to stop for the event to be good. I'm saying that I just want a theme like we've had in certain past years, and then have some IPs on the side for universal to make money. lol and that's all.
