Maybe they will just completely overload IoA with TWD. Houses, SZ's, everything. Let all of the Walking Dead mega fans hang over there.
I think you were making a joke but this would actually be perfect. Seriously do the 2 park event again and fill IOA with walking dead. Houses, Scarezones, a walking dead stage Show.
Yeah I Am ALL for that, leave the studios alone and focus all the walking dead Attention on filling Islands.

I like Roanoke a lot more than TWD. Roanoke has its issues and still needs to get into the groove, but it's different. TWD is basically a repeat of what we've had for two prior years, but bigger. And walkers are zombies no matter what you call them, and zombies have been around for a very long time. Even if the actors were on point, the house would just be nothing new. Roanoke has a lot more room to grow.
I know what you mean, but my problem is how the actors in both houses kind of look the same. You could replace the walkers with the cannibals in each house, and as far as how they look, they would fit in both houses equally.
I wish the Walking dead had stronger costumes, or that the cannibals looked different somehow. for me the only difference between houses is just the sets (And the cannibals talking)

after doing the street experiences and the mega house, what's the next level? laser tag? will they give us guns to shoot the walkers? I can't imagine how they can top the house from this year

In defense of the facehuggers, the only reason you can see the scareactor is because you're watching a night vision video. That scareactor is actually wearing all black in a black room. The light is on the window, so in real life it looks like facehugger is legitimately attacking the window.
Yet another reason why you can't judge a house by its video.
To be honest their facehuggers being controlled by people is Way better than ours. Their movement is more organic and smooth, An Actor knows when to scare you and how to hit the glass at the right moment. In the Dark they would probably scare me a lot if the timing was right (meaning the scare was meant for me)
Our Facehuggers could never be as scary, The automatic huggers feel too obvious, Im not hating on the house, Im just saying theirs are a lot better

My question with this house is what is the point of the egg room? There is a half assed animatronic scare and that's it. Is there a scareactor in there somewhere that I've missed multiple times or is it supposed to be a transition room?
the egg room is a pretty pointless room, Just a filler room (The Eggs do look beautiful)
An easy way to fix this room would be to have a actor on the window, someone that could hit one of the windows with a stick or something. Very easy to have scares in this room and it would just need one more actor
I know the facehugger that hits the window is a nice effect and I don't want to criticize but it's kind of silly. When I first saw that room I got extremely excited because I assumed an Alien was going to show up in the wall or coming out of the windows or something.
that room definitely needs something extra.

I mean Fallon did come for the show during the summer, maybe they are doing it since he will probably have the event on his show? Idk maybe it is meant for him or for people to look it up after the show to go watch Fallon's show
Now I see another missed opportunity, why not have an actor play Jimmy and do some jokes (Not making fun of Jimmy obviously, but Jimmy making fun of other characters on stage) lol
I'm not picking on the show or anything but It just makes me wonder why not do this.

Here's something that a lot of people didn't understand: the joke with the dancing panda. A while back, Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show made a mascot for himself, and it was Hashtag, the Dancing Panda. Watch a couple videos on it. Also, one other thing is that Jimmy thinks American Ninja Warrior is a stupid TV show, and that plays part in the same joke the first time.
That's a pretty weird joke. like, kind of bizarre, Will Jimmy Fallon even see this show? seems really "inside joke" to me.

Also, the wendigo look like that in Roanoke specifically because of the storyline to the house; the interviews that revealed the original houses and scarezones covered it.
They're not REALLY wendigo. The Roanoke colonists have begun to think that they've transformed into the wendigo because they've committed the ultimate crime of cannibalism, but they're otherwise regular humans. The "wendigo" are literally just crazy colonists dressing themselves up as the monsters.
well to me this is not really scary. the thing you talk about in the spoilers, to me that's a little bit lame. If they were going to do a Wendigo house...... why not add a lot of Wendigos?
It's just weird. If it was supposed to just be a Cannibal house, then why bother adding the Wendigo storyline? It just makes me wonder, why even bother?

This zone is not completely terrible, but comparing it to other zones in this area... it is the weakest one. Even the Traditionals in 2012 were more fun when they would go in here.
The stage is really wonderful and the decoration in this area is great but, it feels more empty than the Walker zone did last year. -
they should really make sure the actors are in their place after cast change, Specially if someone is paying 100 bucks and can only see the houses once,
Specially if you get Express and even with Express the actors are not ready. I've always felt that was unprofessional of Universal to do, not give them enough time to get into their places -
AWIL last year had huge problems with stuff like masks. We ended up spending the first and I think the second weekend with some of the Nazi Demons using face paint because the masks weren't finished and available. Even after that our myriad role switches and issues regarding mask comfort and even allergic reactions meant that actors still ended up going out in makeup.
is that why so many actors have make up this year? feels like they are using make up a lot more than before to me. (mostly in the houses, there is a lot of make up this year)

When I went I saw all the actors, did not go during cast change, it was....okay
the only thing I would like to see is to see the actors act crazy. like really crazy, This really needs to be another "Havoc", that could easily make it go on top of people's lists.

This might be kind of obscure but does anyone know of a comic called The Crossed? does this house reminds anyone of the comic? some of the stuff in the house reminds me of the comic, some of the gags, even the wendigo looks like one of their covers
(If you don't know what I'm talking about and hate extreme gore do not google this, I'm serious, even for a comic it very very graphic and extreme)

I personally would die if they played dimmu or Emperor or something like that, To tell you the truth I dont even know what band is playing in the purge zone, I just know it was metal and it felt awesome

Im just messing about the music with you lol. I'm just glad they are playing metal. I don't know if they will ever play Slayer (have they ever played Slayer before?) I completely agree the zone needs better metal, But at least they are playing something different than just the soundtrack for the movies which i was pretty happy about.

I'm not sure about making a review because half of the houses felt disappointing to me but I like your honesty. I totally agree with you on Roanoke, it does have the feel of a cheap haunt. (I'm sure those sets are not cheap, but the house feels cheap) and I agree that there is nothing scary about the cannibals, It is a pretty weird house. Just wanted to let you know you were not the only one that felt that way.

Do they have more alien puppets? judging by the video it kind of feels like they got at least a couple more aliens than we did (Besides the Alien of course)

The best thing about the Purge is the music, please Universal don't change it
AVP needs a lot of work, I agree with everything you said. I kind of hated the Egg room because it feels like a waste of a good scare (there should have been another puppet in there or something.
I also completely agree about the Marines and how the beginning of the house needs the same kind of intensity-

that's exactly the point... they know people will bitch about the streets, yet they only give us 4 zones and no unofficial hordes. Do they do this on purpose? wait until people start complaining until they add more to the streets?
it seems really weird to keep having to add more to the streets year after year after people complain when they could do it from the very beginning. (Unless it is done on purpose for some reason)

I am so jealous of all of the great runs I'm hearing after my terrible first one.
I had a pretty bad run as well. Missed more of the scares and most of the puppets.
I completely forgot about the Predator Spine rip scene, and I did not see a room where that would be set up. Maybe I missed it but I never even saw where this effect would be set up.
I don't think the house has it.

2012? Honestly I would have gone with 2008-2010 maybe 2011, but not 2012 lol. Still, keep in mind that HHN has not had any scare zones for 2 years, and from 2010 and before the props and scare actors were abundant. This year they're just getting back into it. It's not like they were gonna shift back to good ol' awesome scare zones so suddenly. So give it time before it spreads to your liking, and don't worry, because it might just happen.
Is not even about the scarezones because the ones we do have are pretty nice. I understand they have to work around the parade and the props need to be mobile
The problem is the lack of actors in the streets. What I mean is that, in all the places in the park where they cannot add any props or anything they could have at least added hordes again. It feels like 60% percent of the park is void of stuff
In the areas where they cannot add scarezones or props like in front of MIB, it would be nice to have actors there for example. It would be nice to have actors outside of Disaster, or Kidzone. I understand what you are saying about the zones being back and Uni getting their groove back, but they could have had a couple of unofficial hordes in the park

If they are cutting the sacrifice show, I really hope at least they double on the actors in this area... that's the least they could do. I mean, they probably, most likely won't do it,
but it would be really nice if they added a lot more actors instead. I think I would rather have double the cast than have the show to be honest
