Someone speculated here that if TWD goes the Newline dudes might come back. What if they did a Freddy vs Jason house? I could see that bringing people in. And in the same vein as AVP. A not so good movie turned into a great house.

Do annual passholders still get free parking during HHN?

You need the ID number on the back of the Pass to RSVP, I'm not sure if you can obtain it without the physical pass, you might be able to call and get it the number.

If I had to guess I would say having the video use a different version of the Halloween theme was to entice people to keep watching. It is something that they are not used to hearing and places the thought in the back of their mind that they might see something really cool and unexpected at the end. If you're not a die hard fan of the property you may see the beginning and shrug it off because you've seen it before. The new music might encourage you to keep watching and leave you being way more excited about the event and the property that was previously "meh" to you. In the case with people like us we will be stoked to see the Halloween announcement video no matter the music choice. Also they may be wanting to save the punch of the real theme when guests come face to face with the facade for the first time. Which is going to be one hell of a moment I'm sure.

As minimalistic as this year's website it, the animated Michael Myers did startle me last night. Are the house logos covering the quotes for anyone else?

Houses 1. Roanoke - Super intrigued by this house. Can't wait to see the environments. 2. AvP - The setting, the original take, and the puppets. I am stoked. 3. Dracula - I really think this house is going to surprise everyone, also never had the fortune of experiencing a HHN Dracula house. 4. The Walking Dead - Was originally disappointed but the 2nd half of season 4 really pulled me back in, and it being enormous has me pumped. 5. Halloween - Feel bad having it further down on the list, but the lineup this year is so solid it just turned out this way. 6. From Dusk Til Dawn - Not a huge fan of the show, but it sounds like it could be a really cool house. 7. Dollhouse - Something about this one just doesn't do it for me. Hope to be pleasantly surprised. 8. Giggles and Gore - I'm not scared of clowns, it will still probably be fun though. Scare Zones 1. Bayou - Everything about this one seems really cool 2. The Purge - The movies are a guilty pleasure for me, plus motorcycles are neat 3. MASKerade - Could go either way, hopefully some props are about 4. FACE/off - The characters will probably be cool, but I just don't associate the show with being scary, hope to be proved wrong

Reveal week was August 12-16 last year. Does anyone think that they might do something similar again this year? If they do I think this is where they announce AVP or Halloween but not both. Last year they announced everything but Resident Evil which was announced about 2 weeks later. If they do that again I don't see the final stinger being Dracula Untold. Also the fact that Halloween has been "leaked" an there hasn't been an official announcement yet leads me to think they may have been planning to use it for the Resident Evil spot.

Do you think that the house will end in the train car?

I feel like Dracula Untold could be very similar in setting to Gothic. Which I wouldn't be opposed to.

Perhaps altar refers to an altar at a wedding.
