  1. I think the trouble with speculation is you're always gutted when they don't go with the idea you came up with and totally had your heart set on. I for one was hella excited for a overarching woodland theme with various zones representing the nasty things you'd find in the forest ....more fool me. I think in future I wont let my imagination get the better of me... take a leaf out of universal's book
  2. Do we have a list of these code names? Do they actually provide any sort of hint at what the scarezones might be? Also, gotta say, that icecream ad was horrendous! If anything, after watching that, think I'll be avoiding ice cream for a while...grim.
  3. I like the sound of that. I think the change in environment and greater volume of scareactors that a scarezone provides is necessary to create a more intense atmosphere. If the whole park were just woods I feel like I'd just get used to it y'know? Like last year, I was expecting to run into random hordes so it stopped being scary. The change in environment that you get with a scarezone takes you out of your comfort zone and reminds you that everything is still out to get you - I love that feeling, walking into a scarezone, knowing someone is gonna get me before I walk out of it. I love the overarching theme of woodland, it's totally creepy and I think that veritas is completely right- there is a lot you could do with it. I'd love to see scarezones as clearings featuring the various nasty things that one could come across in the dark forest.... awesome .....i'm gonna go think of all the horrible things that could be lurking in the woods...possibilities are endless
  4. Unfortunately I feel like that could easily be the case. The idea of it just being various legions roaming the woods would fit with the theming, (and take much less effort). I really, REALLY hope you're wrong.
  5. I'm really hoping they bring back scarezones! Last years street experiences fell short of the mark for me. I don't know about everyone else but I often found that the legions were always centred around certain areas of the park so rather than being a 'roaming hoard' it sorta just felt like a lazy scarezone... lacking the atmosphere y'know? My favourite street experience of last year was walking through the Central Park area when it was swarming with traditionals, so so creepy! I did hear about some people being accosted by scareactors in restaurants and other places that they had considered 'safe' which I thought was a really cool idea but I was never a victim of it. Might have something to do with the fact that I'm constantly on the look out - I've always got my guard up - even when I go to the bathroom! I guess what I'm trying to say in a really long winded kind of way (sorry) is that a mixture would be ideal!
