Wishful thinking but I would love to see Return of the Living Dead make an appearance in some shape or form at the event. It's got lots of potential for both a house or zone. Lots of memorable characters and moments. Would also love to see them tackle The Thing on a bigger scale. They've been doing good by these classic movies and I would love to see the current team's take on this one.

RHPS isn't coming back this year.

I'm so excited for this scarezone! I really enjoyed the movie and can't wait to see all the crazy s**t going on in this scarezone! I'm glad it's the home to the Chainsaw Drill Team this year. Since I saw Hollywood's scarezone last year, I was hoping they'd put the chainsaws in here. Hopefully, if we get Opening Scareamonies this year, they'll be centered around The Purge.

I'm pretty sure it's Friday because everytime I look it up it tells me that July 18 is the release date. My local theater is doing two late showings of The Purge: Anarchy tomorrow night. I might actually go check it out if I get the chance.

Very true, but wouldn't it make sense to announce that the day it comes out? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a Purge scarezone announcement tonight but why announce it two days before the movie comes out?
