  1. I wouldn't read anything into them they are just images from past events: pic 1 pic 2 pic 3 pic 4 but they make nice desktops properly resized.
  2. Looks like the behind the screams page is gone as well... Hmmm. I doubt there is anything. But when I get home I'll go through the code. Edit: I checked... no Easter Eggs I can find ATM. But the pics decompiled are nice. I will post 'em somewhere when I get a chance.
  3. IDK I think it is balancing out really well. APH are not reflected in those as of yet... BUT we have been getting in cheaper... The people who are not APH and do not want the FFP have to pay a premium to visit the busy nights.. will help keep the crowds done on those nights while still offer a cost effective way for them to come.
  4. Nothing official as of yet. Shadows of the past has been speculated but not confirmed. HHNAmber... I guess anything is possible. After all the Terra queen does look like Medusa to a degree. If the room names are coded too... it will be a first as the names have always refered to what is going on.
  5. Well there ya go you learn something new everyday
  6. Not to nit pick... But she said it would be a pain to decorate because the house was "Arts and Crafts" When I heard "Observation deck" my first thought was a ship or a spaceship... But Mystique is right... Spung tent would be tought to pull off a boat... or anything with an observation deck. That usually implies looking over and there isn't THAT much room in a tent to pull it off. Medusa is a Gorgon and she doesn't have wings. I've actually never seen any gorgon with wings before. Oh an I'm just not getting how people are saying Greek monsters aren't scary or relevant to teens. Is not God Of War relevant to teens AND nothing but Greek Gods... Percy Jackson (which I couldn't care less about)... Clash of the Titans movie? Even Harry Potter has aspects of ancient Greek monsters. Again its all in the packaging. If they can twist 'ole boring flat top Frank into a gruesome, steam punk monster it really isn't that hard.
  7. Oh I don't know: medusa army of hades cereberus sirens minotaur chimera come on if they can make the wizard of OZ scary they can make actual monsters scary... it's not THAT great a stretch... It's all in the packaging.
  8. I love that we have ideas flowing now. I would say that they were codes. If they were House names but they are room names and ultra specific: Medusa/Gorgon room... Army of Hades... I would think, If they were going to use codes they would say something like "Frozen expression" or "firey militia" something like that... If "Army of Hades" was a code name. The Only thing I can refer to is God OF War (We know that isn't happening), A heavy metal band, and the 108 specter army of Hades. Tie that into the Medusa room name and I just don't see it meaning anything else. I could be wrong though. My wife disagrees with me though so... I guess it is how you look at it. I don't think Greek myths is much of a stretch for a scary tales... and who says it has to be all Greek? Why not the Chupacabbra, windigo, any of the hundreds of norse goblins, trolls, sea serpents ON TOP of the thousands of Greek and Roman mythical creatures? Scary Tales 4: Frightening folklore... or something like that. I'm interested in the "Observation deck" I'm so hoping it is the S.S. Frightanic.
  9. Here is the staircase... my apologies to whomever I got these from... I can no longer remember... please take credit if they are yours. pic 1 pic 2 And there I highly doubt the scene names are code... they weren't supposed to leak and they are very specific
  10. Finally something to chew on! Sounds OK to me you can do a lot with mythical creatures and it could be a ST 4 ... but either way I doubt those are code names for the scenes... so will have a Greek house either way. The rat Lady scene was prominent in the Dungeon of Terror... every dungeon of terror (save the 16 one). AND if I recall she was pretty close to the end of the houses. So could be a Dungeon of Terror which would completely make sense for a reunion. Stairs as were stated could also be the sweeping staircase in the Screamhouse. Observation Deck could be either S.S. Fritanic... Space ship... something along that nature... The museum hallway could be horror in wax, HHN house revisited, museum of unnatural history... or a myriad of other things.
  11. I haven't been down to Uni in a while. But I did hear about the queue being cleared and wood was piled up in it. I don't know... due to lack of inforamtion this year my enthusiasim has fizzled a bit for now... nothing to fan the flame. I'm sure when we finally get something... I'll combust again
  12. OK it's Monday June 7th, Howl 'o Scream has updated their page... Let's keep up with the Jones and get a splash screen or something today.
  13. I've been applying to multiple jobs at Universal because I just have to get out of the call center. Not a bad job... or bad pay... just hit a celing after 5 years and I don't want to talk to 100 + people on the phone everyday. Anyway, I think if I don't land something else I will definitely try for scareactor. I also work 40 hrs and live/work roughly an hour from Uni... But being a scareactor has always been on the list of things I would love to do and I have always wanted to work for Uni full-time... So anything there would help I'm sure.
  14. Man I checked those at what... 12? that stinks the codes aren't avaliable... What will we debate and speculate until the teaser?
  15. So it's June 1st and if memory serves me we had a teaser page this time last year did we not? We at least had the archive page updated and the codes names. But as of yet no dice on either.
  16. Pics anyone of all these dead trees?
  17. Right the tag line is "Where you can ride the movies" I still think that their will be be six houses based off years and two left for new ideas. (be it movies or not) The six being Jack (incorporating Eddie possibly), Caretaker (incorporating Cindy), Director, Stoyteller/Terra Queen, Bloody Mary, and the Usher. It doesn't really make since for an anniversary to be all new content. This is backed up by "Shadows of the Past"... That means things will come back. That's why I think last two of the 8 houses will be new content while the other 6 will be a "scrapbook" of 2000 (maybe '07 but they probably wont be using NLC characters in any capacity), '02, '03, '05, '08, and '09.
  18. I thought the same but the prevalence of trees is undeniable in what little marketing we have seen thus far. Maybe somebody just likes trees... But it seems and odd koinky that this is the year of the queeen and trees are everywhere... even in the logo for the scarezone last year.
  19. Yeah thats Outkastz's site. Right now it's probably the only really reliable information. the concerns came over the fact that, judging by last year, we have code name around two weeks ago last year.
  20. I agree that it is a worry. However, they did say the code names were really tough... which implies they are obtainable. They also said that the rough construction for each house was given an extra two days this year and that they rarely build off site unless it is a prop. Maybe Orlando is just slow to put up the records? Has anyone gon down to the physical court house to get them? IDK I have no facts to back it up, but I think we'll see something in the records early this week.
  21. Ah those pesky master #'s. Well I figured it wasn't anyway. I don't understand the process I guess with Orange County. they open up say a Mel's Diner Kitchen overhaul BLD2008-05683 in 2008.... then in January of this month they resubmit plans? I guess you would have to know the project. But that is neither here nor there.
  22. Sorry for my short hand there are two seperate cases. the "USF MEL'S DINER BLD 86" project Case #: SCN2010-00232 and a project called "Simpsons Project" Case #: SCN2010-00255 Also (now that the site is working again) USF ROOFTOP PYRO INSTALLATION I don't know if any of this has anything to do with HHN... my guess is probably not. While the EARTHQUAKE one could have been... We would also see soundstages and parade building permits as well.
  23. Well a wee bit more digging. I did find a permit for a "Project Earthquake" Which is in PZ #73 (not I'm remembering if this is the queue). Print Plans receipt. Case number SCN2010-00130 I don't know if any of these are related to HHN but... I also see a lot of reference to "Project Strong Arm" Anyone know what that is all about? (I'm assuming it has something to do with HP) there is a mel's diner Plan (SCN2010-00232) A "Project Simpson's" But then for some reson the site died and I couldn't look up anything else
  24. I think last year I spent the most. 2 people, 3 nights for $30.00 a ticket.. so that is $180 Then about $175.00 on merch and maybe $40.00 on food and drinks all three nights... so like $395.00 which is about $65.00 a person a night. but it is a paltry price to pay for my favorite event of the year!
  25. nothing thus far. I checked all their parcels.
