  1. Yeah, seriously, it always cracks me up when I see chicks wearing heels or totally inappropriate shoes to HHN. You can wear a cute dress and still have on comfy shoes. And I really DON"T recommend flip-flops for the reasons someone noted-I don't think they're safe in that kind of environment. I usually wears jeans and a t-shirt, or maybe a cute top. I have a fear of wearing shorts to HHN, because I'm always afraid I'll injure my legs somehow if they are bare. But, after working 2 years in a skirt, it doesn't bother me as much.
  2. That sounds like Brad, cast A. Blonde Eddie, also cast A. Thanks for the kudos for my scarezone and cast.
  3. Brian, I met you Monday night, and you are a really nice guy! Hoping to catch both shows on my days off, and I would love to see you walk through Fear Revealed. I'm the Storyteller, cast A.
  4. Oh no, Jonathan, what happened? Remember, RICE-Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Purchase an ankle brace if you need one, but make sure it's big enough. They seem to run particularly small. I have been having HUGE pain in my left ankle and heel for months, especially bad for the past 10 days or so, so if you see my limping, that's why. Fortunately, it serves my character well because Ms Strict would not be a fast mover, but I hate feeling old and lame like that.
  5. We take photos at our discretion. I get tired of pictures very quickly, and I would much rather scare, but if you ask nicely, I MAY oblige. I may also quiz you on something related to my character. And if you don't know who my character is, I won't let you take a picture. Also, it is really rude to yell after a scareactor for a photo, and don't touch them unless they are a good friend of yours. But don't be surprised if I just decide to get up and move around while being photographed.
  6. We in Fear Revealed try our damndest to scare people, but it isn't always easy because of our sets, and even the people who have no freaking clue who we are want pictures. And you know what, if you don't know who I am, I will NOT take a picture with you. I've been getting decent scares, and I've found my knife really freaks people out because it's real.
  7. Yeah, me too, because I missed it as well.
  8. Zombie babies FTW!!! We need zombie babies somewhere every HHN. Loved this house, went through right before closing, and the cast was still full on, even though it was almost the end of their set and I know they must have been tired. Managed to find Ron without too many problems. Can't wait to do it again, because I always need at least 2 run-throughs to get the full effect of any house.
  9. I don't blame the actors for B&T, I think it was just poorly written. I really wish they had used politics a lot more, because there was so much to make fun of this year politically. But, no Avatar, no Scott Pilgrim, nothing about Harry Potter? They could have easily made fun of the Potter lines, by showing some cast members waiting in line, saying they'd been there since 5 AM June 18. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who find that funny.
  10. I think you were too generous in your rating of Bill and Ted- a 6, really? I'd give it maybe a 3.
  11. I should be heading to Marley's about 4, to meet up with Niki and whomever else will be there then. I can't stay for long, though, because I have a call time of 5. I WILL see some of you on set, and can't wait to *try* and scare you all.
  12. Shit, I never thought to get a TM preview event guide, and I would love to have one. Perhaps they are still a few lying around backstage somewhere.
  13. Jake, Hades is a place, not a person. Chyron (I may be spelling this wrong) is the person who mans the boat on the river Styx and takes you across to Hades. There should be a Chyron, as I know someone cast as him.
  14. How the f*ck did I miss the red button in PS, the only house I got to go through on Wed? DUH! I 100% agree on B&T, it sucked ass. My husband saw it on Wed, and unfortunately, it was the only B&T he's ever seen. His response: "On a scale of 1-10, I give it a negative 12. I can't believe they put on a show that bad." I also missed the glowing crystal thing in The Coven, and it seemed as though there was no lighting at all when I went through really late on Wed. Perhaps it had been shut off for the night? I know a lot of effects in my area weren't working properly, or just weren't used that evening.
  15. I'm looking forward to this one because I've been to the Paris catacombs, on which this is based. It's true that catacombs entrance is non-descript; I believe it was just a little booth or store, where you purchased a ticket and walked down a long spiral staircase down into the catacombs. And don't forget, the Chucky facade was, IMHO, one of the worst ever done.
  16. Definitely a good house, and definitely NOT a funny house. It was good to see a couple of my friends in the house, one waving back at me, and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back through it again to fully take it all in.
  17. This was my most anticipated house, so imagine my excitement when I was done in time to see a house, so this is where I headed, with Jonathan. 30 minute wait, not too bad, so we figured we'd have time to see some streets. By the time we got to the house at 10:45, it was closed! SOOO disappointed! Can't wait to see it next Friday.
  18. I felt like this scarezone had NO lighting at all, just fog. IT NEEDS MORE LIGHTING!! I could barely see anything, and those costumes are gorgeous! I did love the one guy burning at the stake, saying he was roasting like a chicken. But seriously, there just isn't enough lighting to the point of it being a hazard.
  19. SUCH a huge cast, such great sets, fantastic music and sound, lots of fog but not enough that it obstructs your vision, and tons of good scares=great scarezone. There is just so much going on here that one could spend a few hours just watching things happen.
  20. LOVE the costumes! Looks great, good scarezone, as usual, I didn't get many scares, and I don't recall any music, but then again, I almost ran through what little I had time to see. Awesome beginning to the event.
  21. Love the look of the zone, and love the little vignette with the guy being tortured. Chainsaws aren't too scary to me, but I have many friends who are terrified of them. A little too much fog-Jonathan and I couldn't see each other on our run through.
  22. As far as I know, those are NOT doors on the front of the prop warehouse; that is, there are no doors under those round-ish things. I do believe the float will go back each night, so as not to be in the way during the day. I have yet to see it actually in the scarezone, so I don't know where it's going, but I doubt they will leave it u all the time. People would climb all over it and break stuff and get hurt and ruin it.
  23. Can someone do me a huge favor and videotape whatever is playing on the screen at the front gates, post it on Youtube, and put a link to it here or something? I really need to see it, but won't get a chance to until probably Oct 1, when I'm attending as a guest.
  24. I would love one of the AP pins, if someone can get one for me, I'll pay you back. Yep, same shit, different year. I think we need to band together and send out mass amounts of email, and if chosen to do a survey, INSIST we get better merchandise. I'm sick of it always being the same old stuff. I want me a hoodie, dammit, and more than 2 shirt designs. BTW, that really doesn't look much like fear, as least as far as I can tell.
  25. I am really looking forward to all the houses, but after hearing the description of LT, and having had just about the most fun of my life being involved in this in 08, I really can't wait to see this. Catacombs sounds great, especially if it's anything like the real catacombs in Paris. I hope we see those old set pieces from DD queue. I think you are all greatly underestimating Zombiegeddon. I think it is going surprise everybody.
