Went through 3 times last night, all the same cast (thanks, Bruce, for being so great)! On my first run-through, I got pulled through a boohole by one of my cast mates from last year, and it was awesome! Really enjoyed all my time in this house.

I actually got to hang out in my street for a while last night, making sure I hit both casts, and had a great time! I think we ALL do a fantastic job, and many kudos to everyone for trying their hardest to scare as many as possible.

Trolandan, that was you with the chair? That was one of the funniest things ever, and I'm trying to think what I said when I asked about the empty chair, and you replied your dead uncle; something like he wouldn't mind it if he got sat on. I was the Storyteller in the VIP lounge commenting on your love of women with knives, and oddly enough, you weren't the first person that night to say he found women with weapons hot.

Or, as I overheard one guest, pointing at Fear: "Look, it's the NEW guy!"

You know what, I'm really glad security is being anal this year, because it can help avoid problems. While someone on here may never think of using a studded bracelet or a chain on a purse as a weapon, that doesn't mean someone else might not. I'd rather have them err on the side of caution.

Yes, Shadowcreek, the blonde Eddie is my cast, and I'm sorry I'm too busy for a photo with you. I had no idea I had that many more photo requests than other people. I thought Jack was the busy one. I try to get as many scares in as I can, and still do enough photos so as not to make people mad or disappointed.

My only hope is that Uni reads your merchandise section, and takes heed-WE NEED BETTER MERCH As far as Fear goes, no comment, since that's my scarezone. Maybe he could have had more of a presence, and I honestly don't know what they could have done to appease the fans more.

Personally, I've never felt a scarezone and house tied in together so perfectly as Z-Ged and Z-Gras. I think it's a fantastic concept, and I love seeing those old Mardi Gras costumes, decor, and the float used in a different way.

Dr Jimmy, if you're going with me on Oct 20, make sure to bring the cat and comb with you, and we'll tour the house together a few times.

Yep, just like I said, now that I've worked the event 2 years, and see people with t-shirts from HHn 2 or 3 and past, I realized the stuff has become too similar from year to year. Now, about that letter writing campaign....

We DO look a lot alike in make-up and costume, and that is because we always have the same person do our make-up, night after night. Her shawl is different than mine, and I am taller. I'll let her know that you enjoyed your interaction with her. Since I almost never see her in character for more than a minute or two, it's good to hear that she is a wonderful Storyteller, just as I thought she would be.

I forgot to add something: as a scareactor in a scarezone for 2 years in a row, you are right, there ARE often photo ops, but where else in the event can you take pictures? They aren't allowed in the houses, and while I often turn down or turn away from photos, part of my job is to make someone's visit to HHN memorable. Photos are often an outstanding opportunity for a scare, and street scareactors use that to their advantage. True, it can be hard to strike a nice balance between photos and scares, but we usually manage to do so nicely.

I remember the OP from the Vault, and he (or she) was always a hater and never had anything good to say about the event, and in fact, ended up being banned, if I remember correctly. Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion, even if it does vary from most people's perspective of the event. The crowds seem really high this year, and this past Thursday was probably the busiest night I've ever seen at HHN, as a guest or scareactor. So that theory is blown to hell. And don't forget, in past years when you may have had 200 minutes waits, there were only 6 or 7 houses; with 8 houses, there are more places to hold people, so naturally, the wait times are lower with more houses. As far as the e-prompts go, you have to remember that if a scarector is using their own voice to make a scream, noise, whatever, the voice will wear out quickly. My voice gets tired from speaking all night, so imagine if I was screaming. should of BTW, this should be HAVE, not OF. Learn proper grammar. This drives me absolutely up the wall when people do this.

Hell Week is next week, and the Storyteller who sat down next to you was Margie, not me, but that's a great idea and I'll have to try it sometime.

Yeah, I never realized how crappy our merch was until I went to Busch last year Labor Day weekend, and saw their whole store with HOS merch. I think unless we start a serious letter or email writing campaign, tell TJ or whomever every single time we see him, and stop by guest services with suggestions, over and over and over again, things will never change. Their sales would most definitely increase if there was a greater selection of merchandise to choose from. People like me, who dislike the stuff so much they've never bought a damn thing (and of course, 2005 was one of the years I missed), would spend more money, instead of just $9 or $10 on a pin.

You know what I hate? People who sit in my chair and don't get up when I tell them to, leaving a coordinator to come over and chase them out. Would I tell you to not sit in my chair if I didn't mean it? I know this isn't a Universal rant, but my god, I get sick of doing this several times a night. I want a remote controlled joy buzzer.

I scare people out of smoking. Last year, I let it pass because there were so many of them; this year, there aren't nearly as many smokers, and I always tell them, in character, where the smoking ssection is and what can happen if they don't go there. I am concerned about cigarettes and our propane tanks for the fire.

He's not a scareactor, but I HAVE to give a shout-out to Miker, my make-up artist, who makes me look fantastic every single night, and also makes me laugh. I can I not love a guy who loves Pee-Wee Herman!

If Hollywood can have generic hoodies, why can't we? Although personally, I prefer a pullover hoodie to one that zips, but I know that's petty.

You mean there's more than one pin? I bought the lantern pin yesterday, finally, and now I guess I need to search for the other one as well. I see many old HHN t-shirts on guests walking around the parks, and the more I see, the more I realize how much the shirts of the past 4 years truly suck. They are all basically the same, with *put year's slogan in red on front* and the list of houses on the back. My favorite shirts so far are from 2005, and I just don't know why we can't go back to those kind, with more options, long sleeve shirts, etc. 2000 even had orange t-shirts! And are we ever going to get hoodies?

Actually, if you act like an idiot, you are much more likely to be completely ignored. Working in the streets, I love checking out people's t-shirts and such. Vault shirts and HNN shirts almost always get special attention from me.

Well said, Bryan. For every ass that comes through, we get guests like the man in the top hat who pushes his elderly mother in a wheelchair, every FFP night, or the teenage girls last week who each had a homemade icon t-shirt, with each girl's favorite icon on it, or someone like the person who brought Stewie through (and caught cast B Storyteller) and asks us to take silly pictures. Personally, I like stuff like this; I love the guests who have fun with the event, treat us well, and appreciate all the hard work we put into making a great experience for you all. That being said, if you come through our house or street and find the cast is not quite on their "game", it could very well be that the cast is having a bad set because of poorly behaved guests.
