  3. Okay so since we now know that Feature = Halloween 4, it’s pretty obvious that Surprise is Blumhouse. Therefore, unless Surprise is something else, I’m realllly curious as to why you have Blumhouse as your THIRD anticipated house.
  4. I noticed that there was no longer a thread for the music from Halloween Horror Nights 17: The Carnival of Carnage. I think that out of all of the years that were recovered, this was the only one that did not come back. So, if no one minds, I'll just put the music from that year down here using the old thread, old recordings, and Reaper's + Gambit's audio mixes as a basis. If anything needs to be either changed or added, please let me know so I can update it. Main Gate: The Legend by Graeme Revell Jason's Surprise Attack by Graeme Revell (Both of these songs are from the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack by Graeme Revell) Houses: Dead Silence: The Curse of Mary Shaw Main Title by Charlie Clouser Mary Shaw by Charlie Clouser Family Album by Charlie Clouser (All of these songs are from the Dead Silence Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dreamwalkers Dream Attack by Charlie Bernstein (This was in the queue video) Sleep Clinic by Charlie Bernstein Prologue by Charlie Bernstein Main Titles by Charlie Bernstein Run Nancy by Charlie Bernstein (All the music is from Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Friday the 13th: Camp Blood Overlay of Evil/Main Title by Harry Manfredi - Friday the 13th (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Virtual Crystal Lake by Harry Manfredi - Jason X OST Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Flesh Wounds Insect Eyes by Devendra Banhart - Rejoicing in the Hands Birth by Steve Jablonsky - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning OST Main Title by Steve Jablonsky - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning OST Psychoscareapy: Home for the Holidays Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano Jack's Funhouse in Clown-O-Vision Main Theme (Music Box) by Phillip Glass - Candyman (The version I use on Spotify is by Halloween Scream Theme Team from their Halloween Scream Themes album) Waltz of the Ghouls by Verne Langdon - The Phantom of the Organ: The Vampyre at the Harpischord Carnival of Souls by Verne Langdon - The Vampyre at the Harpsichord Flight of the Vampyre by Verne Langdon - The Vampyre at the Harpsichord Vampyr: Bloodbath Blackest Rose by Midnight Syndicate - Vampyre: Symphonies from the Crypt Bump & Grind by Bjørn Lynne - Accelerator The Thing: Assimilation Main Theme (From "The Thing") by Gareth Williams - The Essential John Carpenter (If you're a purist who wants the original piece, it's called "Main Theme - Desolation" or "Humanity 2" by Ennio Morricone) Streets: Troupe Macabre Living Dolls by Nox Arcana - The Carnival of Lost Souls album Caliope by Nox Arcana - The Carnival of Lost Souls album The elephant man theme by John Morris - The Elephant Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) The Ferris Wheel The belgian circus episode by John Morris -The Elephant Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Parkwide Ghosts of the Midway by Nox Arcana After Hours by Nox Arcana Madame Endora by Nox Arcana Hall of Mirrors by Nox Arcana Dr. Treves visits the freak show and elephant man by John Morris - The Elephant Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Haunted Carousel by Nox Arcana (All of Nox Arcana's music throughout the park is from The Carnival of Lost Souls album) Shows: The Carnival of Carnage Pre-Show Dark Carnival by Paul Roland - Pavane album (Don't Fear) The Reaper by Blue Öyster Cult - Agents of Fortune album Within by KISS - Psycho Circus album Show Intro by Korn - Untitled album (The first scene in the show where the girl and the security guard are looking for her friends) Psycho Circus by KISS - Psycho Circus album (Jack the Clown's first appearance) A Party for Me by Marc Shaiman - The Addams Family (1991) Soundtrack (When Jack introduces his "Troupe" and the "Security Stretcher" scene) Circus Music by Richard Bellis - Stephen's Kings IT Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (When Jack tells Tiny to drag "Zac Effron's" ass out of the cage) Be a Clown by Judy Garland & Gene Kelly - The Pirate Musical (Paint the "volunteer" into a clown) Unknown song playing when Dr. Panetti is searching for the laughing place Carnaval Underground by Danny Elfman - Clive Barker's Nightbreed Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (When Jack asks for the victim's opinion on the show as well as when he catches Dr. Panetti playing doctor with Chance.) 5. Sorry, Legacy, but I’m a bit confused. Wouldn’t that still be the same? I know I made it a bit confusing by talking about the queues’ layout in KidZone for the three Houses, but regardless of whether or not my guesses are right or wrong, wouldn’t it still mean that their entrances are in KidZone? Same thing with the SS’s. I only discussed their entrances.
  6. For the queue locations, I’m pretty sure the sound stages’ queues, as well as their queue entrances, will mirror HHN 24, given that the SS’s they had they had in that location that year are exactly the same as this year: Stranger Things = Despicable Me Entrance Poltergeist = Music Plaza Entrance Carnival Graveyard = Jimmy Fallon Scary Tales: Path of the Wicked = NY Library entrance Now for the houses in the back, I’m pretty sure Trick ‘r Treat, SOX, and Dead Exposure’s entrances will all be in KidZone: Trick ‘r Treat’s queue will be exclusively in ET and behind like it was last year with AvED. I might be mistaken, but if they’re using the other half of the Parade Building, then SOX’s queue will probably be similar to how it was pre-2012 when the Parade Building entrance was on the other side. Lastly, Dead Exposure will be in the same place it’s always been. Other then that, I think the rest of the queue entrances are alright. Otherwise the houses that are partially right are Oz (obviously) and Halloween (maybe). If not Halloween then Blumhouse, but I’m leaning towards Halloween.
  7. Yes, I agree that we should bring IT back.
  8. The place to post all your favorite Treaks and Foons fan art/pictures! Only 1 Rule: Post nothing but Treaks and Foons.
  9. This a day that was calculated with careful planning and review. It's a day to celebrate Treaks and Foons! Play with some suds, take a bath with foam, and play "Carnival of Souls - Harpsichord." Enjoy the day!
  10. Vote on which is better: Treaks or Foons?
  11. It's funny you mention that, because I've been in the process of creating my HHN 28 Playlist! Everything is pending since the event hasn't begun yet, so everything is subject to change when the event begins. But for music, my guess would be: Shout by Tears for Fears A View to Kill by Duran Duran Wild Boys by Duran Duran Good Man in a Bad Time by Ian Hunter Let's Go Crazy by Prince Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell They Only Come Out at Night by Peter Brown (I Just) Died in Your Arms by Cutting Crew* Let's Dance by David Bowie Twilight Zone by Golden Earring? Etc. Other songs that I have in mind are from the Fright Night soundtrack. It was made in 1985 and it contain vampires so it's plausible to hear music from that movie playing throughout New York, especially: https://youtu.be/E8pZyqiWa2Y and And Obviously Auld Lang Syne. Which version? Not sure. Perhaps a classic version, or an 80's rendition? We'll See.
  12. For those who can't see the description for Twisted Tradition, here it is: "Travel through the forest of Central Park where an ancient evil has been awakened. Halloween has been transformed into an abomination with rotting pumpkins fused with decaying human flesh. Try and escape the grasps of these field beings, with nothing but the light from rotting jack o' lanterns to guide you." Also, since they've only announced 3 scare zones, is it possible that the remaining two are IPs?
  13. So here's my guess so far: Coach = Poltergeist Craig T. Nelson, who played the father in Poltergeist, also played Coach Hayden Fox in the show Coach. Coach may also be Clue #4 Dynamite = Trick 'r Treat (Clue #2) Don't really need to explain this, do I? Feature = Most Likely Secret House (Special Feature?) Fireball = Stranger Things (NO clue) Meteor = Original (Clue #6 or 7) Poison = Original (Clue #5 or 6) Rag-tag = Cult of Immortal (or Undead) Carnies (Clue #3) Clue #3's rule was elements of the story; assuming that it meant finding a key specific piece of the story each R&M gif was referring to, I watched each scene of the episodes they belonged to. Part 1 - The "backwards savages" referred to the cult of tree-people that Morty joined when he and Rick were stranded in the mini-mini-mini-verse. Part 2 - Rick's "Good One Jerry" referred to the "Insane Clown Posse" joke Jerry made. Part 3 - The main key piece of the plot during the episode was the "Immortality field" that Rick and Jerry inadvertantly destroyed while escaping from alien hitmen. Adding up all of those pieces leads you to a savage group of immortal, insane, clowns. When you hear savage group/cult of clowns, you tend to think "Carnies," and the codename "rag-tag" fits that term nicely. Usually in horror, people tend to associate immortality with "undead" and by that extension 'graveyards." Therefore, it's probably an Undead Carny Graveyard. Snacks = Return of ANDI? (Clue #8?) Surprise = Happy Death Day or Secret House Zero = Dead Exposure: Patient Zero (Clue #1) - I think either "Meteor" or "Poison" might be the returning original of Scary Tales: Wizard of Oz, which I'm sure is Clue #6 from all the speculation in the past 1-2 pages. - Clue #7's Name is Nihilism, and its rule is "Sleight," meaning deceptive. Maybe it's not on the clip or the scene its in, or even the plot of the episode itself. The episode the GIF belongs to is titled, "Big Trouble in Little Sanchez." The title is a play on the movie "Big Trouble in Little China," which was directed by John Carpenter, whose movies had a consistent theme of nihilism, especially in his cult classic version of "The Thing." Now it might seem unlikely given the rumors this time around (and the info I was given, whose main sources seem to be quite reputable), so maybe it's an original version of it? I'll edit this every now and then.
  14. It's been a while since I messaged here, so I'm just going to say what I believe will be coming this year, from most likely to not likely: Strangers Things -___- I mean come on, it's already confirmed AHS: Cult It makes the most sense, since Universal probably got into a 3-year contract with AHS to have 3 seasons in 2016, 3 more in 2017, and catch up to the entire series with their season 7 house this year. It's logical. Blumhouse's Halloween I feel like they will have it this year since they've had both Blumhouse movies AND the Halloween franchise multiple times in years past, so what better way to have the best of both with the upcoming Halloween movie coming out this fall! It certainly does not hurt at all. However, in the 25% chance this doesn't happen, expect The Conjuring to take its place, even though I highly doubt that (I'll explain that when I get there further down.) A Nightmare on Elm Street If this does happen, I will be pleasantly happy, but not surprised. HHN has had ANOES since 2007 (not accounting for All Nite Die-IN) and Freddy was in Freddy vs Jason in 2015. It would be easier to have A Nightmare on Elm Street since they've had the rights for years, so there would be no problems or concerns bringing it in this year, especially with the rumors of an 80's-themed year as well as the fact that HHN has been having classic houses as of late (AWIL, Halloween, Exorcist, The Shining, etc.) If this doesn't happen, then I feel that either the rumored Alien or The Thing will take its place. Trick 'R Treat It got SOTY last year, and it's such a fan favorite. HHN has had subsequent years where a scarezone became a house the following year (Saws and Steam). I'd be a little surprised if it did not happen this year, especially since it's fresh in everyone's mind, and it's got great house potential. IT Now this is quite the peculiar one. Very peculiar indeed. You see, I believe that the complication of leaks and purposely created "false rumors" were done with IT in mind. From all the information I've heard, if A&D had already anticipated and knew of the leakers, then "it" (hehe) would make sense to have IT, one of the most popular Horror IPs in recent years covered with false rumors of "it" getting cut. After all, IPs fall through almost all the time. It is a very plausible and logical rumor that people would believe, albeit begrudgingly. On the other hand, IT could have very well "fallen though," and IT may not come this year. If that's true, then I am 100% sure that The Lost Boys will take its place. IT's pretty much 50/50. Now for the 4 that I believe will Probably NOT come this year, from maybe to absolutely not: John Carpenter's The Thing I'm going to be honest: I want The Thing to come to Horror Nights this year. Really bad. Even more so than IT . The 2011 Prequel was my first House at HHN, and the 1982 version I saw the day after coming back from HHN that year brought me into horror. I want this house so much. After hearing rumors of it coming back this year, I was so happy and hopeful about seeing it at HHN 28. That being said, it may not be likely that this will come this year. However, with the whole 80's vibe that this year might have, The Thing is not completely off the table, so there's some hope. If anything, it will replace either ANOES or Trick 'R Treat. Alien As much as I see it being here this year as I do with A Nightmare on Elm Street, I don't see them BOTH happening this year; it's an either-or scenario. Even though Alien v Predator was at HHN in 2014, I see Alien as a whole new monster, and since I'm not sure how much of a hold HHN has on the rights to this IP, I see ANOES as the most likely possibility, especially since we know that HHN has the rights to the popular IP. The Lost Boys Again, I see this being an either-or scenario with IT, with this coming if IT doesn't; but, since I feel that IT may be coming, I don't think this will be there. Either way, which ever does come, I will be extremely happy. The Conjuring With the $1 billion lawsuit that was just settled a few months ago concerning this franchise, I am pretty sure that this IP is not happening at all this year. Planning for the next HHN takes place the day after the end of the current one, usually in November. The nasty lawsuit was still going on strong at that time, and it was expected to continue for months; granted, it was settled mid-December, so there is some possibility that this IP may still happen, but until I see an announcement, I'm not convinced. Though I will be extremely, pleasantly surprised if The Conjuring comes to HHN 28 this year. Now I know that's a lot, So here's the Tl;Dr version. What I think will be at HHN 28: Stranger Things (Strictly speculation TOTALLY UNSURE) AHS: Cult Halloween (If not, then Conjuring) A Nightmare on Elm Street (If not then either The Thing or Alien) Trick 'R Treat (If not then The Thing) IT (If not then Lost Boys)
