  1. 1.Penn and Teller New"kd Las Vegas 2.Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare 3.Welcome to Silent Hill 4.Universal's House of Horrors 5.The Walking Dead: Dead Inside 6.Gothic 7.Dead End
  2. This reminds me a lot of last year, when we had the accidental release from Burger King that Lady Luck was our icon
  3. How would you know, these are all RUMOURS and SPECULATION you need to wait until the official press release from Universal to find out for sure. Even then don't knock it until you try it, we know very little about what the event is going to be like, if you were a true HHN fan something there wouldn't "suck."
  4. I have been saying for months now that I thought there would be a Classic Universal Monster house! Now this is here to justify my point, I think that the photograph house may be Classic Monster themed
  5. I have been wanting a silent hill house since I started my HHN career. I love silent hill, and I think that this house would be amazing!
  6. This is very picky, but it seems like the teaser site for HHN this year looks more like HHNH's website than it used too...
  7. I really wouldn't mind a house LOOSELY bassed off of Snow White and the Huntsman. I loved the movie, but I don't think the story would fit a house, but certain environments i.e. the dark forest and the Queen's castle. Could be pulled of very nicely, we also see some characters such as creatures in the dark forest.
  8. I would love to see those 3-D projections used in a super cool way! I am sure HHN could find a good place for them!
  9. That video is awesome, but I agree we should have some tech/space themed house.
  10. It would be so awesome to be going through mayan chambers! Sounds very intense, but I am not sure about the Shining there would be a lot of show scenes.
  11. I really liked Zombiegeddon last year. I thought that it was just a fun house! It was very intense, loud music, lots of actors who were into it, and not to mention that I was laughing at the same time!
  12. Hahaha thanks, and yes are you sure you are not a parallel me?
  13. Hey guys, I really agree with the HHN at IOA conspiracy, even though people said they didn't really enjoy those years. All of them have gone down in history as the best years for HHN, I mean look at 2002, we had a great new icon and an amazing house for him, 2003, another great icon and a great house for him plus psychoscarepy, 2005, an amazing theme with some very cool house i.e. body collectors and demon cantina. So personally I think all these years did better for the fans then 2011 and maybe some others over at the studios, so consider IOA, I think it would be fun.
  14. Hey Guys, I know there is already a ton of reviews from this year some people may want to hear mine. I thought that this was an overall amazing year, every house was exceptional, but the scarezones were a little lacking :/, but lets get into it, shall we? Houses: Winters Night the Haunting of Hawthorn Cemetery, Winters Night was the first house I went into, and I wish that I could go in again! This house a beautiful facade and other scenery, some very cool effects such as snow, and some pretty good scares. This house was more on the quiet side and gave of an eerie feeling with a lot of blue lighting, but I loved it and it was a great way to start off the event. Scares: 7 out of 10 Environment: 10 out of 10 Overall: 8.5 out of 10 The Thing: Assimilation, This was the second house I went in and it was another good house, the facade was also stunning but a little bland. The scenery in this house got a little repetitive. There were some very good scares in this house, but to me it wasn't the most enjoyable house. By the end you become immune to the loud noises, strobe lights, and alien body costumes. Overall I thought it was an okay house, but I think that HHN should be done with The Thing for a while. Scares: 8 out of 10 Environment: 7.5 out of 10 Overall: 7.5 out of 10 Nightingales: Blood Prey, Nightingales was third house we went in, I was extremely nervous for this house because of what other people were saying about it, but I honestly think it was overrated. I did get a few good scares in there especially in the last scene, they had me running out of the house. The effects were great with the aerial actors, but the thing that got me upset was that this house was very repetitive. There is not that many different scenes they can do besides trenches in there, but overall I still really enjoyed the house and so did everyone in my group. Scares: 8 out of 10 Environment: 6.5 out of 10 Overall: 7.5 out of 10 H.R. Bloodengutz presents Holidays of Horror, Being the comedy house of the night I was not expecting to get scares in H.R., but believe me, I did. The rooms that got me most were probably the Fourth of July room and the Christmas room, it was great! I loved the scenery in this house, it was very funny and just a good time. Overall this house had to be my second favorite of the night. Scares: 9 out of 10 Environment: 10 out of 10 Overall: 9.5 out of 10 Saws and Steam: into the Machine, This was my favorite house of the night. It was very intense and scary, but I also loved the scary and dark atmosphere. The steam punk theme almost made the house seem like the game Bioshock. I give major credit to the guy walking under the waterfall. I only have one disappointment with this house, I wish the chainsaws could have been real not just an audio loop, the only reason this bothered me was because one actor from this house had a chainsaw and the audio was way off, so it wasn't very scary, but this house made up for it. Scares: 10 out of 10 Environment: 9.5 out of 10 Overall: 10 out of 10 Nevermore the Madness of Poe, Unfortunately this was my least favorite house of the night. I had heard great things about it and was very excited for it, but it didn't live up. I walked through this house without a single scare, I hardly saw any actors, but the scenery was amazing, I thought this house had a cool facade, but the level of detail inside was insane, just like Poe himself. Scares: 0 out of 10 Environment: 10 out of 10 Overall: 5 out of 10 The in-between, This house was also not very impressive to me. I had a fun time going through, but it didn't look like something that was up to par with the usual HHN. This house had a few good scares especially for my friend who I was with, but it was't to intense. Some of the 3-D effects were cool to look at, but this house felt rather short. Overall it was okay, I liked it, but it wasn't too memorable. Scares: 7 out of 10 Environment: 6.5 out of 10 Overall: 6.5 out of 10 The Forsaken, Again this house was not that great. There seems to be a reoccurring theme that the tent houses were not that impressive ( along with this house which was not in a tent. ) I enjoyed this house and thought it was visually stunning, but it was rather dark, although it wasn't too scary they did get me at the end, good. A scareactor threw his hand in front of my face and scared me very badly. I loved the scene in this house on the bridge, there was so many scareactors! Overall it was a fun house though. Scares: 5 out of 10 Environment: 8 out of 10 Overall: 6.5 out of 10 I am not going to be reviewing the scarezones as I missed one and the others were not that great But thanks for reading my review, respond with your thoughts on the event! Thanks!
