  1. Less than 200 days! It's the finaaaal couuuuuntdoooown.

  2. I don't expect another Walking Dead house, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see it back and in a soundstage. Especially after the draw it had last year.
  3. HHN Off Season = Netflix Binging.

  4. Got to see an earlier screening this Tuesday. I actually liked it and can see how it could translate into a house fairly well. My only complaint it that it's PG-13.
  5. After so many horrible TV and film adaptations of some of his stories, you'd think he wouldn't care so much about allowing Universal to make some of his stories into Houses or Scarezones.
  6. Bingo! Dino DNA!

  7. Mama seems like it would make a fantastic house. It'd be pretty good for Hollywood too if they're not doing another La Llorona house. It might just be me, but I think those two properties would be too similar. Especially after seeing that image of Mama.
  8. Bill and Ted aren't going anywhere, imo. Look at The Hanging at Knott's. It doesn't even have lead characters in it's pop-culture skewering show and it's well into it's upcoming 41st year. It's a cornerstone of Horror Nights. It's not something I think they'll get rid of anytime soon, regardless of some years that aren't good and some that are superb according to people's tastes.
  9. It actually got good guest feedback. The only reason that they didn't return is because the bases for the drums were converted into bases for one of the floats in the Superstar Parade. I actually enjoyed them and it didn't take away anything from the event really, just wish it would've been much longer.
  10. A Dia De Los Muertos house would work perfectly if done in a 3D motif and as a serious house. Like In-Between.
  11. Happy New Year, HNN'ers! Just a few more months till the macabre roll back into town.

Let's hope time flies...like it usually does. :)

  12. They've been doing Magic Shows since Fright Nights when they had the really amazing Pendragons. It's something they find synonymous with the event and I don't see them stopping anytime soon.
  13. ^ That's actually one thing I forgot to mention. I really do miss the Arch video screen.
  14. They were very nice in person. Especially Teller. He loved the house more than anyone I think.
  15. This is from another thread I had posted in and felt would be helpful here. When I went to see TJ at "The Creation of a Horrifying Reality" back in October at Elixir Orlando he was willing to answer any question thrown his way regarding this present year and previous years. After the show, the people that had joined me and I got to spend a good twenty minutes just shooting the breeze and talking about the event with him. One of the questions I asked him that night was "Have you considered doing a two park event again?" and "What's up with HHN at IOA and the feasibility of the event with Potter/Seuss?" He answered them pretty easily. Regarding the question about doing a two park event, he said "It's always on the table. We've thought about going back to a two park format and just haven't had an idea for an event that warrants doing both parks again. Especially when it comes to Islands of Adventure. It was a fantastic location for the event, especially with it's narrow walkways. When we did the event in '06, we felt the event would succeed more in a realistic setting and have large and wide walkways. Thus bringing it back to the studios. The only drawback and perk of IOA is that the majority of the events we'd like to have over there would preferably have to deal with fantasy related themes. One of the reason Terra Cruentas was such a success for us was because of the setting the park gave to us." As for the Potter/Suess question, he said "We've been able to do the event in Suess and we've been able to modify the area a bit with fog, backwards Suess Landing music, and even cloaked characters at points. We haven't done the event at Island since the Wizarding World was added." I asked if they were allowed to have HHN at IOA and use the Potter area. He said, "Super easy answer to that one, haha. We haven't asked them if we can yet."
  16. I remember back in 2003, while going through the lackluster Jungle of Doom, there was these huge cow and human carcasses hung above you and just split open at the ribs. Just dripping on you while you walked under it. You don't see stuff like that anymore.
  17. Been listening to some youtube videos and added a few more. Some are pretty in-audible though.
  18. I wish someone had recorded all of Penn's voice over's in the house. I only remember a select few (barely) Hurry up and head for the air lock! Your New Vegas adventure awaits! (Containment Hall) Glasses and alot of dough is all you need (?) (Containment Hall) She's filling him up with Happy Gas (Poker Room) The paintings are on loan from the Velvet Lourve. (Honeymoon Suite) You know those stains on the bed? They taste like (?) (Honeymoon Suite) Have you ever been backstage at a David Blaine show? You should hold your breath (Backstage) Anyone have an umbrella? I think it's raining in here. No wait..that's..(Backstage) Hey Prince, have you ever heard what it sound like when doves cry? (Backstage) Every light shines just a little brighter, but ultimately cause a seizure. (Lightbox) This is the way the world looks to Keith Richards. ALL the time. (Lightbox) No, no. It's green, red, yellow, blue, red. Not blue, yellow, red, green. (Lightbox) New Vegas! Kind of like (?) (Seizure's Palace) My cousin's an Elvis impersonator, he doesn't sing or anything, he just sits on the toilet and does Percodan. (Wedding Chapel) This is almost as fun as a (or the) hangover. No, wait it is. (Wedding Chapel) I'm in the mood for a fried peanut butter, bacon, and banana sandwich with a side of Percodan. (Wedding Chapel)
  19. Penn and Teller New'kd New York. But seriously speaking, all I really would want back is the eight house minimum and a mix of scarezone/roaming hoards. I'm a simple man. (I really wouldn't mind another Penn and Teller themed house though. They're one of the better humor houses that Universal has done in the past. Being completely un-biased)
