  1. My favorite example of "horror western" would probably be John Findley's comic book series Tex Arcana.

It originally started in chapters appearing in Heavy Metal magazine way back in 1981 when I was 18 years old. It appeared sporadically over the years and he still hasn't finished it. He takes longer than I do with my HHN History videos!

The reply to "Howdy Stranger" in the image was priceless. "Stranger... than what?"

  2. As I recall you were actually a scareactor in the first TWD house back in 2012.

You remember right? How you scared me that time so badly I almost had a fricking heart attack and died right there in the damn house?

It's probably because of you I walk with a limp and use my umbrella as a cane nowadays. (that and eating too much)

Must agree with RUN though, very very fun. 2nd favorite for me after JP25M&Ms. (because bear. bear makes anything #1)

I miss this house so much, the Enforcer telling me he was gonna get BOB and throw her in an oven and have her for dinner... that's right he said he would grab my pussy, wreck my pussy and eat my pussy... cat.

O CANADA and the chainsaw to play with at the end. (and YES both scare actors and UTH guys said it was a legit GAT)

Walking blind into the Gladiator's victims cell by mistake and getting sprayed with blood in the face... wet glasses does not solve blindness problems.

And the Blitzkrieg Brothers calling out "HERR DOKTER!!!" when they saw me... (I was afraid they would "sieg heil" me, that might have upset other guests!)

But most of all I miss the Candy Girls. I would nearly always get good and proper "reaped" by them. Last few times grabbed by the shirt and bonesaw applied directly to my chest.

My only regret is that I never got to see Eddie's cameos on the one or two nights he was there.

  3.

A note to Universal: Kick me out of an ADA section entirely "reserved" for seemingly random people one more time and see what happens.

    Do it.

Do you know what ADA is? If it was reserved then it was reserved. Mostly for people with disabilities and not all disabilities are visible to the naked eye. How about just sit somewhere that isn't reserved or have yourself one of their disability passes or a wheelchair and they'll let you sit in an ADA section that isn't reserved yet or try to make similar accommodations elsewhere so you may enjoy the show. It seems like you make a habit of this with "one more time".....

And Clash speaks the truth. If anything I thought Amy Winehouse was "too soon" But then again it's been 4 years which is longer than I thought. It really seems like just last year. Either way at the end of the day I enjoyed the show and went on my way.

OK I don't usually step into someone else's argument but something needs to be said here because there is a MAJOR misunderstanding going on!

As a matter of fact I was there that night and saw this incident happen.

MissBA, what you don't know is that Nightshade IS in a wheelchair. He is most certainly "legitimately" qualified to be in a ADA area.

His complaint was that they forced him out of that ADA area in violation of the ADA to seat non-disabled "VIPs" instead. He does have a very legitimate beef with the staff who made that decision and when he says "see what happens" he is not making any empty threats but suggesting that he will take legal action if this occurs again. And I cannot blame him for that.

And yes, this kind of crap has obviously happened to him before. It is a testament to his patience that he never acted on it so far. If it had happened to me I would at the very least have contacted the supervisor and logged a complaint the very first time - and called my lawyer if it had ever happened a second time.

  4. Total counts for HHN 25

    Attended: 20 nights

Jack Presents: 25 Tears of Monsters and Mayhem - 24

RUN: Blood, Sweat and Fears - 20

    Asylum in Wonderland 3D - 20

    Body Collectors: Recollections - !8

Freddy vs Jason - 15 (final score for my walkthroughs Freddy  won 8 times, Jason 6 with one "draw" so Freddy ended up ahead! heh heh.)

    The Purge - 15

    Insidious - 14

An American werewolf in London - 12

The Walking Dead: The Living and the Dead - 11

The Carnage Returns - 18 (including the final show)

    Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure - 17

    A grand Event overall.

  5. Most of what is left of Nick Studios is just office space, hallways and storage. They used the Soundstages and what is currently the Sharp Aquos Theater for the actual filming.

And besides, trying to get the rights to all the characters would be hell, even if they would allow their children's show image be turned into some type of monstrosity in the first place.

On the topic of Eddie becoming an icon, I would predict a lot of those asking for it would be disappointed with the result.

I prefer him as the face of a house rather than a voice of the event, because I've not seen him speak... ever.

He spoke in this promo video for HHN 16:
