ok for the 20th year it started a new era of fear right... fear was a representation of Phobos the greek god of fear. this year it was Fortuna the greek godess of luck..last year in caticombs there was a plaque that stated a clue about this year. this year there was a plaque in winters night that i will post a pic of. the last word on the plaque was Fury capitolized which gives it personality LYSSA was the goddess or daimona (spirit) of rage, fury, raging madness, frenzy, and, in animals, of the madness of rabies. The Athenians spelt her name Lytta. Lyssa was a figure of Athenian tragedy. In Aeschylus she appears as the agent of Dionysos sent to drive the Minyades mad; and in Euripides she is sent by Hera to inflict Herakles. Greek vase-paintings of the period also confirm her appearance in plays about Aktaion, the hunter torn apart by his madenned hounds. In this scene she appears a women dressed in a short skirt, and crowned with a dog's-head cap to represent the madness of rabies. and thats what i found about the greek goddess of fury get it?

just my 2 cents, i dont post much but.... anyone that dosent think this years event was amazing somethin is wrong with you... the houses alone were phenomenal. winters night was amazing cuz i went threw almost alone.... the forsaken... i have NEVER seen a set that amazing. especially the inverted floor. costumes is amazing... hr blood n gutz was hilarious. and the sets were awsome. the 3d imaging in acid assult...wow just wow. universal puts in ALOT of work and detail into this event just as much as any other haunt... so form me... not that it matters much... KUDOS to you universal... i have been for 13 years and you have NEVER let me down....

kind of wish they would do like the storyteller with a different book. i know they put Elsa to rest but wish they would have used her one more time... just a different story know what i mean

you know i got to thinkin..... no icon... cool. maby they will have just one amazing over all storyline. BUT THEN i thought what if they dont have just ONE icon but MULTIPLE icons. maby one for each scarezone? maby a story line where its a whole new literal world and each is an own horrific continent with its own ruler of madness. or somethin like that.... opinions?

OK just thought of it... for the comical relief house.... SLIMERS REVENGE! UO already owns the rights to Ghost Busters and i think that house cold be amazing. they cound hve amazing ghost animatronics for like the library scene... different lazers flyin around... slimer could be on like a screen to where he could fly down a hall or somethin. the cue could be like all 4 GB's tied up talkin trash... just think it would be cool... somethin id like to see

I totally disagree. fear was a really well thought out concept just highly underused. and the costume if you really look at it was absolutely amazing. tell me for real that if you saw that in your closet or under your bed when you were a kid you wouldnt have s''t yourself. Dont blame the icon... blame the desighners for misuse of an amazing character wich with the right placement could have been really dope. as far as fate gos id like to see what thats all about in the future. and who was "Jil" if any one has a pic or discription let me know my 2 cents!l

ok... just throwin this out there.... i for one would like to see... how do i put this politically correct... an icon af different ethnicity. blck, spanish, russian, anything really.... just think it would be cool. like if they do use the whole thimg they did in catacombs that would be the ish! dont post much, but figured that was worth it... correct me if im wrong lol

imma have to say i dont wanna see ANY repeats of icons. not even cindy or eddie or chance. i like the fact that the major icons lived it out and their not so known counterparts have the mystery that they have. give us somethin brand new. the raw halloween theme woud be ill.

id like to see some sort of political house, like a house where the anti christ had taken over or just the opposit where the people have taken it back. now thats really scary ish lol. another one would be a dentist theme. i hate the dentist. but the house id most like to see happen. is something with more animatronics... or like a projector playin stuff on fog or somethin man. somethin with alot more scares. last year it felt like the event was being rushed to finish or somethin. i dont know just my 2 cents

see i totally agree, fear should have at least had a house called consumed or something along those lines. and a band playing at hhn would be cool but due to some of the younger crowd it would be extreamly hard to find an editable band/artist that really expresses horror. being a horror core artist myself, id like to see some real horror based music weather it be ICP Twizted king gordy psycho jesus gwar ect would be cool but artist like that usually wont edit live music. even slipknot / as crappy as they are now <{old school maggot} wont do that so getting a band would be harder than usual. but yes i agree that even if they decide to do Fate or something along those lines, give the character life, give the actor room to play and give the character a soal... or no soal for that matter. make us scared again. the houses this year were good concepts just executed wrong. it felt like every house i went to was on shift change. espesially in hades, wich could have been an amazing house but places they should have had obviouse character/prop/anamotronic use... was simply not there. i remember going to hhn when the caretaker had his reighn and i myself wa kinda nervouse... cuz i knew the story... i knew the person... and i knew why he wanted me. but again if they do use a cool character like FEAR.. please... let him be cool. let him have his shine....
