  1. I literally just said Chance was the one thing I didn't know about. lol
  2. Well, the first thing this season that wasn't told to me in advance is a disappointment. But it does explain some things. When fans complain about stuff getting repeated, just remember, this is why.
  3. Just my cast photo. Backstage was black plywood and 2x4s, like every other house.
  4. That wasn't the facade sign, that was actually the Latin hidden at the entrance to the Cough'n Room!
  5. I'm glad I could do it, but no promises I can deliver on the same level for other houses.
  6. Oh geesh, let me try to remember. The entire thing was the French Catacombs (until the end), so it was all rock work, bones, and vines. It was also elevated immensely by they intensity of the cast. It was almost all vets who brought it every night. Room one - A hall of standing bodies standing upright in arches with two scareactor corpses. Room 2 - Baby Crypt with baby skeletons lining the walls. When the effect worked, the heads would move up and down. Room 3 - An infected archeologist and a skeleton are hidden behind some scaffolding. Room 4 (Narrow Spaces) - A narrow, rocky corridor with a tied up archeologist hanging above and Plague Doctors appearing the sides. A corpse reaching down at you from above transitioned into Room 5 (Room of Roots) - A massive tangle roots had grown into the catacombs, creating a puller like cage with a doctor inside. Room 6 - A plague doctor kneels at an altar before lunging at you, while a corpse creeps around the other side of the room. Room 7 (The Coughin Room) - An s-turn shaped room with three doctors, each with two boo-holes. (This was my room) Room 8 - A doctor works over a corpse on a table, drawing your attention, while two doctors attack you from the ropes and cloth lining the scaffolding behind you. Room 9 - A transition room into the museum. No scareactors. Room 10 - Museum finale. Protective plastic hangs on both sides of the hall, meant to protect the bodies on display. The plastic is thrown into your face while corpses on either side attack. With strobe and everything, it was the best finale that year.
  7. Remember Crimson Peak? There's ALWAYS a chance the obvious choice won't make it to both coasts.
  8. Branded Hash was a house I heard a while back that was replaced by Shall Not. I don't think Hash is coming, but anything is possible at this point.
  9. I'm thinking Shall Not Be Named is the mega/uber/super/duper house. Branded Has is another house I heard that I don't actually think is happening.
  10. Nah... This code (which again is for a house I heard several months ago that was replaced with Shall Not Be Named) is more direct. "Branded" = IP "Hash" = short for rehash
  11. It's been a long time since I saw it, but I don't think so. At the very least, it's not something that comes to mind.
  12. Well... I'll say I know what Shall Not Be Named is. Whether it's actually happening or not is what I don't know anymore. There's another house I had heard was coming that ISN'T on my list. Maybe I should come up with a code name for that one... Edit So, here's the other house's code name: Branded Hash
  13. Okay, real talk. For the most part, those who are "in the know" compare notes quite often. I do it, others do it. It's how we confirm stuff for ourselves and each other. I'll admit, I need it more than others because I do not have any direct connections with Universal people who know. This can cause a bit of an echo chamber because, again for the most part, most of us don't know who sources information for each other. One source could be giving the same information to the same people, who are talking to each other, and actually confirming nothing. It's like when someone post an idea on one website, another website repeats the idea, then the original site takes their posting as confirmation. It's important to know that context. TWD being in a soundstage threw me, and others, for a bit of a loop. I think an echo chamber formed on the location aspect of our information. As a result, I started asking a lot of questions. And all I got from it was more questions. So in the interest of transparency, I want to categorize my confidence in my list. Everything I was sure on, I'm not so sure anymore. This year has gotten VERY interesting. 100% Confident The announced (Exorcist) The announced: Second coming (TCM) The Announced: The returning (TWD) 90% Confident The unannounced: The return (Parade) The unannounced: Claustrophic jewel 75% Confident The unannounced: The expected The unannounced: The requeling No effing clue The unknown Shall not be named
  14. Hold on to hope. This proves what I'm saying isn't gospel.
  15. Lol - Still not the mega-house though, since it's sharing.
  16. Yep. I was wrong on that one. Changes good bit of location presumptions.
  17. Who said this was the megahouse?
  18. Well, yeah. That's the point. They really are. Watch nothing else be right.

  20. Well, for one thing the new tent, from my understanding, is bigger than what we have, and bigger by two rooms. The normal sprungs typically have 10 rooms, 3 will likely fit 12, so two rooms a season.
  21. With a new announcement a new change! The announced The announced: Second coming (Tent 2) The Announced: The returning (Tent 3) The unannounced: The return (Parade) The unannounced: The expected The unannounced: The requeling The unannounced: Claustrophic jewel The unknown Shall not be named Also, everyone who wanted another best-of house, here you go.
  22. Classic speculation? Yes. It use to be even more muddy. People who drop hints basically announce when they're doing so. Before you wouldn't know who knew anything and what were hints so on top of arguing over what was coming, we argued if hints were actually hints and if in-the-know people knew anything. And the clues use to be so much better. And in regards to Halloween 2, yes.
  23. It's good. When it's not official it can get confusing.
