As much as I have admired Orlando for having all new content every year, I am firmly in the YES column - and not because I am one of those who cannot go this year. They have taken such a financial hit, and there is no telling how many years it will take for them to bounce back. Honestly, I am still doubtful HHN 2021 will be any different than this year. The US may be rid of it by then, but will the rest of the globe? Who knows...

Anyhow, Universal needs to stay alive. I'd much rather see them be able to hire back some employees than spend the dollars on two new houses. Hell, I wouldn't mind if they have a FEW years with some repeats until things come back.

HHN Lite (2020) Onsite hotels are currently a good deal

Universal has a deal on a 4 night stay during HHN.

There are no discounts for HHN yet for UOAP holders.

Given that we now know the dates for HHN 30, now is a great time to lock in a stay at a premium hotel.

Cost to reserve the room is 1 night stay, refundable if you cancel more than a week out.

For instance, I have reserved Portofino for Week 2 of HHN and Hard Rock for Week 3, and will cancel one once my flights are solidified. And of course as we get close I will continually check AP rates, but chances are they will be much higher than this.

NOTE: As a reference, the rates below for HHN 30 so far are better than rates for HHN 29 were as of 4/8/19.

HHN 30 Number of Houses, Scarezones, Shows

As was the case in 2019, the Universal HHN website has a menu section called "Haunted Houses & More"

In this section they show "Coming Soon" boxes. Last year, contents for these boxes appeared as Universal made HHN announcements.

This year's boxes are as follows:

Haunted Houses: 10 boxes
Scarezones: 5 boxes
Attractions: 7 boxes
Live Entertainment: 2 boxes
Merchandise and Dining: 2 boxes

HHN 30 Dates

Universal HHN website now officially shows all 40 dates on their calendar

Frequent Fear Plus

(Source: UK Tickets for 2020 are on sale as of 2/8/20)

UK tickets also are offering a BOGO deal. No Express tickets available yet.

FFP Pass: 84 GBP ($108 USD). This looks like a fantastic deal.

BOGO or GA Ticket: 70 GBP ($90 USD)

NOTE: As of 3/10, The US HHN website shows BOGO tickets for $84.99 USD (but no FFP options)
