I wasn't at the event, but I was tracking the wait times from the website. Don't know how well this matches reality, but from the 9 batches of wait times I grabbed from the website last night, here's what I found:

The longest wait times were at Evil Dead, Havoc2, American Werewolf, and Cabin in the Woods. The lines for these averaged about 30 minutes with spikes up to 50 minutes.

Walking Dead and Afterlife averaged about 25 minutes, but were as low as 10-15 minutes at times.

Resident Evil and La Llorona averaged 14 minutes and 11 minutes respectively, but were as low a 5 minutes near the end of the night.

Can anyone who was there last night confirm whether these wait times match with what you saw?

I went Friday and Saturday and these times seem verry accurate. The only thing is that AWIL was always verry low, like 20-30 minutes, but the lines took way longer in reality! The times should get more accurate when the event advances.

I would love to know the set times for all but that info is left up to the actors to share it or for us to figure out. Once the times become to their regular status.

Can't wait to get back to Cabin and see this jack in person.

Question to those who went this past weekend. Am I the only one that feels the streets are umm a little under the weather. I can't say there better than last year. I can say there's elements that bring it to a new level but overall I had a blast in the streets last year.

Also this new step of providing photographers in the streets could be a neat idea but there are certain areas this should and should not be.

I liked the sets and the streets look nice (I love the barn, so awesome). But the park felt a little emptier even than last year, kind of. I know there might be a lot of actors working, but I don't know. sometimes it feels like there were only a couple of walkers around.

The walkers I did see were doing a pretty good job, so I am happy to see them.

Sorry if this was discussed already but as for Stay & Scream if you stay in New York I know they send you to the soundstage houses first however which ones did they send you first? I mean I know last year we got sent to Silent Hill first then Gothic but with Evil Dead being further down the road I was curious do they start you there or one of the ones closer up the road.

I read that RE was the first house to open up so I am guessing you can either head there or line up for one of the others.

On both Friday and Saturday last week, they sent us to AWIL first. Both times, by the time I finished the house, I was able to get into RE with no waiting, while the sign for ED still said "opens at 6:30".

I did the IOA cross over, and in about an hour, i did

Resident Evil(all alone with no wait!)

Havoc (no wait either)

Walking dead (about 10 actual minutes)

La Llorona (about 10 minutes as well)

then me and my gf ate for about an hour. Then walked in the scarezones. Got starbucks, ran to 8:45 bill&ted show. Then the rest of the night we did the remaining four houses. But we had to run from Evil Dead to Afterlife cuz the Park was open for a few more minutes, But luckily we made it :D

I didn't know where to put this so i think this is the best place- does any one know when bill & Ted and RHPS shows are (for oct 19) ? Also what would you say i should go to first? I have express and i give 2 houses to be able to walk with no wait before the crowds start. I was planning evil dead and CITW but i watched the videos on youtube, which i knew i would regret but it was too tempting, and CITW looks good but AWIL looks absolutely amazing. I love all 3 of these movies but i'm thinking: AWIL first then ED, and see if i can do CITW with short wait.. Good idea? I would use express on the same house later on in the night, but i feel like ED and AWIL would be best- any advice?

Does anybody know what happened in Walking Dead last night around 10:30? We were waiting in line for a while, and after a while on the last stretch before we got into the house they had everybody turn around and exit the line. There was a firetruck passing by and I'm pretty sure the cast was evacuated.

Well last night at about 11:00 a saw a guy (I'm guessing drunk) get escorted out of the park.

The zombie bomb truck was moving out of the Louise restaurant area and a guy holding a glass decided to stand in front of the moving van to get a picture. The scareactors were telling him to move, the coordinator came over and got right up to his ear and yelled at him to move out of the way. He still didn't comply til after the picture was taken.

All in all they got it handled. Just something interesting that happened.

When we arrived there were two people (guy and girl) being handcuffed in the Jaws 413 parking area. Oddly the guy was bawling and pleading to be released and the girl was stoic. not sure what was going on there.

In La Llorona all through the line, this jerky group was carrying on, holding up the line, and most were clearly drunk. Inside they were very disruptive causing trouble. The people directly in front of me told an op halfway through... they were pulled at the end... love when that crap happens :)

I really have no idea if my scare tolerance has gotten so high.. But I didn't get a lot of scares last night. I'm a very easy target and usually scare pretty easily (I can be jumpy) but I was never approached or targeted in houses. Made the event have a complete different atmosphere for me

I had the same issue (last night at least,) with every house except AWiL, and they got me GOOD. Even in Havoc though they seemed to avoid and it seemed rather reserved and I went through twice. I don't know if it is because I am a fairly big guy or what but it is still pretty easy to get me if A.) you come after me quickly or b.) sneak up on me.

I'm one of the Walker Bomb guards, I remember this quite clearly. Our coordinator is the best.

I was in the fastpass line when that happened. Pretty annoyed too, since that caused me to completely miss seeing WD that night.

I didn't hear anything official, but I heard a rumor from the crowd that someone pulled a fire alarm.

Was it just me, or was the wait time section of the website completely unusable? I tried it several times from my phone while I was there, but it just kept saying "We cannot locate you within the resort". All of my location stuff was turned on and I was allowing it to share the location, but the website just wouldn't work for some reason.

Yeah, the wait time thing is unstable. I've tried two nights and it says I'm not at Universal.

My boyfriend and I ended up finding all the ravens in the houses. Was fun to do.

Anyone else manage to get a solo walkthrough of one of the houses? On Friday, my second house during SaS was Resident Evil. I walked through the line and when I got to the entrance, there was no one else there and there was no one in line behind me either. I walked through the entire house on my own. Kind of cool being able to walk through at my own pace and not have to deal with the conga line. That's never happened to me before. The closest I've come was a couple of years ago when I was stopped at the entrance to a house for a couple of minutes and then got to be at the head of the line going in.
