Before I write my review, I should mention that although Iaapa is mostly about the Attractions industry, they certainly do there part for the community. Expo participants donated $6,570 through a raffle for a 7-night Royal Caribbean International cruise for two.
Statistics for Iaapa 2011

- 1,106 companies
So here is how my adventure began. Iaapa was kind enough to allow HorrorNightNightmares access to the Convention a la Press access to cover the event for all of it's members. I along with HNN Member luke set off to see why Iaapa is such a huge deal. Upon my arrival to the Orange County Convention center, my mind was blown. Countless number of people walked toward the convention center as i drove to the parking lot. As i mentioned before this was my first time going to Iaapa but also I had never been to the convention center before either. I was amazed at how many people attended this event. As we made our way to the convention floor after checking in at the press off i was amazed at what I saw. (Continued below)

Since we had two days to walk around, and yes there was lots of walking me and Luke figured it was best to start up and down the aisles with plenty of stops at the Coca-Cola Free style machines to quench our thirst. Here are some of the 100 + photos we took at Iaapa 2011...

(above) how each of the awesome two days started
(above) If you even noticed the Cotton Candy machine, lol it was awesome. This vending machine actually makes fresh cotton candy and does it all in front of yo to see. what will they think of next.
(above) HNN Member Luke with one of the Characters for sale
(above) There was a series of shooting galleries like the ones seen in various theme parks. the ones displayed here were pretty cool
(above) This booth had some really cool masks for theme parks and some of them were animatronic
(above) These two guys were doing this all day. I could see myself getting bored of this type of attraction in a few minutes but i guess its more for kids.
(above) This was one of many roller coaster displays they had.
(above) HNN member Luke trying out the large ropes course they had on display.
(above) We got to walk through the vortex and yes it reminded us of HHN ![]()

(above) The Legoland display was from the company that built the ride for Legoland Florida
More pictures will be posted soon.
All in all, if you or know someone in the Attractions industry, this is the place to be as this convention offers everything you need to get your amusement facility running. From Stuffed Animals, to Change machines, to Roller Coasters, this place can and will fulfill anything you need. I would like to personally thank Iaapa for allowing Horror Night Nightmares the opportunity to explore Iaapa and cannot wait to go back in 2012.
